Lsesu Hindu Society Description

Founded in 1991, LSESU Hindu Society aims to raise awareness of Hinduism by promoting, practising and protecting the Hindu faith. We do this by holding events throughout the year, including: feeding the homeless, learning about God and what it means to be Hindu, joint events with other unis, Hindu celebrations (Diwali, Garba) and more!

A winner of the Silver Stars Award in 2013 /14 and 2015 /16 presents us as one of the most involved, dynamic and accessible religious societies available at LSE. We have a huge national network within NHSF, allowing huge collaborative events with other universities such as yearly Garba and Chandni 2016. With other special events planned for the year, we are looking to celebrate our 25th anniversary in style!
