What is Macro-Lean all about?

We specialize in coaching young busy professionals to lose fat and get lean in the most enjoyable and empowering way!

Macro Lean is the most effective way to build and maintain a lean, toned body. The method combines Macronutrient manipulation and resistance training.

Developed by me Matt Cho, a personal trainer of over ten years who has constantly searched for the optimum way to burn fat and build lean muscle.

Happy Saturday...
Bright and breezy here in south London and I'm loving it...
It's been a full on week with launching the membership site... #WLU
... I'd love to say I'm taking the wkend off...
But that ain't happening haha...
Being an online coach is great and I get to help peeps from all backgrounds...
Regardless of location🙌🏻
I also get lots of questions from people via social media...
And I've noticed a common theme with quite a few...
They ask very detailed questions about certain things...
And although these questions might be somewhat valid in the right context...
Most of the time they're not...
For example, I might get...
"Should I be resting 75 or 90 seconds between sets?"
"Will 5g of creatine help my performance or is 10g better?"
"Is brown bread better than white bread?"
All of these and the many more are all irrelevant if you are not doing the basics...
1. Tracking your macros in a deficit...
2. Getting in 3-4 resistance sessions a week...
3. And being consistent towards your goal...
So if you find yourself wondering about the minutiae...
But you're not doing what really matters you need to flip that mindset...
And focus on what will give you 99% of your results...

Happy Fri-yay peeps!
Another absolute scorcher all week with no end in sight...
I'm hiding in Pret which has good air con and good coffee...
... A great combo...
Today I wanna reveal a discovery that I came across a few years ago...
That zaps the stress out of wanting everything right NOW...
Ya see...
My old immature self would always get his knickers in a twist that...
I didn't have the exact body I wanted...
The millions in the bank...
The Victoria Secrets model girlfriend...
**insert any big life goal**
Right now!
Life was so unfair!!!!! (apparently haha)
But once I started to model the actions and behaviours...
Of the high achievers, I looked up too...
I saw a common thread...
Instead of beating themselves up because life wasn't perfect...
They judged success in having a goal and working on it every day...
Compared to having it all... (which is impossible anyway)
So the bottom line is...
If you have a goal and your working on it day in day out...
Then you are successful...
And when times do get gritty...
As long as you're doing the work, you're being successful...
This has helped me so much manage with the ups and downs on the path...
I just launched my new membership site a few days ago...

It took me over a year to complete...
And it's been a struggle, to say the least...
But I kept turning up day in day out and working...
Whatever the weather...
And although it's out...
It's not complete...
I will add new content every week...
Keep making changes to make it more user-friendly...

You hit a marker and you keep going to the next level...
That's life!

Just inspired by the no-frills common sense approach.

Following since August 2017 and applying Matt's suggestions.

Down 30lbs, with 5" off waist and BMI down 3.4 to 23.7.

My wife wonders why it has taken me so long to start doing it if it was this easy!

I've always struggled to understand nutrition for as long as I can remember even with my own nutritional needs but even more so since becoming a personal trainer and strength and conditioning Coach. There's so many different views on what's right and what's wrong not to mention over complicating the whole thing.



Mat keeps it real and simple, for everyone to understand and I've started to use and implement his principles myself with client's and for myself. Still have a long way to go but I've got more knowledge now than I did have and I understand it easier....cheers Matt ������

Easy to follow plan that's realistic and easy to apply, I have tried many diet plans before but always failed sure to lack of after care.

I travel a lot for work and find the macro lean method easy to integrate into a busy schedule and the results are long lasting.
