Madame Marie Tussaud escaped the guillotine and survived the horrors of the French Revolution.
An immigrant and a single parent, she toured the towns of Britain with her travelling wax cabinet, fighting off competition against a background of fire, riot, shipwreck and betrayal.
She became one of the most famous names across the Globe.
Yet nobody knows Madame Tussaud’s story.
Until now.
MADAME TUSSAUD - WAXING LYRICAL is written and performed by Judith Paris. It was originally directed by the internationally renowned director and choreographer Gillian Lynne.
