A really great night last night at Chilston Park Hotel in Sandway. Thank you to the new general manager, Simon Barker - we'll be back! And, of course, thanks too go to Martin Cox, Leader of Maidstone Borough Council, our speaker for the event. We all had a great time!

Every month Maidstone Business Networking holds a meeting in different parts of Maidstone Borough. There is a different interesting speaker for about 20 minutes so you can keep up with todays business topics. The networking is for nearly two hours and you could meet potential customers; you could meet new contacts, maybe new suppliers. We make organised networking work. Women half as likely to start their own business. Women are half as likely as men to start their own business, and only a fifth of smaller firms are led by females, according to a government study. Ministers told the BBC that this is creating a "significant pool" of untapped potential.
