Today our Managing Director Eriona Bajrakurtaj, had the privilege to take part in a roundtable discussion with the Shadow Small Business Minister Bill Esterson at Intuit QuickBooks offices. • Many important issues affecting small to medium sized businesses were discussed including how #Brexit will affect trade with EU and the rest of the world, difficulties raised around talent acquisition, lack of regulations around late payment affecting small businesses, the productivity ...of the UK market compared to the rest of the world, government investigations, behaviours and their treatment towards small businesses and how these issues could be resolved. • This was such an eye opener! Highlighting the fact that views are commonly shared amongst small businesses from all industries. • There needs to be change and certainty if the SME market is to not only survive, but to grow and prosper! Let’s not forget the majority of the economy is supported by small businesses; if they are not treated fairly, what kind of future can we expect of our economy?
