We went for lunch, it was sunny so we sat outside. We shared a beef cappacio to start, my lady then had cod in a chorizo and chilli sauce on a bed of crushed potatoes; I went for the fillets of sea bass wrapped in Parma ham with a butter and sage sauce, mashed potatoes and fine green beans. All washed down with a fine Frascati. The food was excellent, and the staff attentive. A perfect way to lunch in the sun.
The food was great , went with friend and kids we all enjoyed . defo going back

Excellent quality of food and service very very enjoyable
Delicious, authentic, Italian food. Probably the best Italian restaurant I have ever eaten in. The portions are generous, and the service is very friendly.
Best italian restaurant in town!!!Love it,love it,love it!Food is amazing and the staff as well, very friendly and polite!Highly recommended!
Been here 4 times now. The food is first class. The service excellent. The restaurant is homely and not intimidating so you can have a relaxed high quality meal or dress up and make it a special occasion if you wish. Tonight my son wanted a pizza. The kids menu offered a basic one and I asked if they could do a small ham and pineapple instead and they obliged without question. Most places stick to the menu don't they... my partner and I had the scotch beef meals which were amazing. The intensity of the flavour matched the size of the portions! We have also asked if they can do #Gluten free and #Vegetarian meals so we can come with some friends in the future and it's not a problem. Will be back again soon. 10 out 10
Amazing food ...friendly staff... very nice atmosphere ...5 ☆ ☆☆☆☆
Absolutely lovely food, and lovely staff. We are regulars, eat here at least a couple of times a month, and cannot speak highly enough of them.
Would recommend this restaurant. Great food and great service.
We enjoyed our meal very much. We had pizza and pasta dishes so cannot comment on meat or fish but the quality of what was put in front of us was tasty and home cooked.
Service was generally very good without being over zealous. My one disappointment was that when I asked for a green salad to accompany my pasta I was told they could only offer a mixed salad or a rocket and parmesan salad as per menu !!!??????!!!!!. Hopefully just an unsure waitress.
We will return another time as I am intrigued to try their main courses.
Called in on a Friday lunchtime. Was greeted by a smiling waiter who offered us any seat. Was polite and attentive. Collected a menu for us both ( me and my sister). Gave us a time to look at the menu. Decided on the set menu - which was starter and main plus a glass of house wine for £10:45. Neither myself or my sister drink - but was offered a soft drink instead. My sister had minestrone soup - I settled for prawn cocktail. Was pleasantly surprised. Prawn cocktail fresh and well presented her minestrone was more like a main course - and so hot she said t able to eat. However we both thoroughly enjoyed our starters. Main was cod, crushed pots and green beans served with a province sauce filled with cherry toms. My sister plumped for spaghetti with meatballs.
Both piping hot and Very flavoursome
All in all. Great value, superbly cooked , presented and great ambiance and excellent customer service.
Would definitely go again.
Wouldn't take taste card because I didn't phone in advance!
It was virtually empty! Do they serve inferior food if you have a taste card? Can't see what difference it makes. Won't be going back! And will tell friends and family not to bother either.
Gente ignorante!
Food and service very good drinks expensive like most restaurants over priced
Had spaghetti marinara with was ok. Other family had sunday roast which was not good beef overcooked. We couldn't tell between lamb and beef neither could staff so served wrong dishes to individuals. When we pointed this out they shrugged shoulders didnt seem bothered. One had chicken caesar salad we had to ask them to put croutons on it had to wait for some packet crouton. Beef chewy and tough and minimal veg looked like frozen Yorkshire pudding. Basically it basic food but quite pricey for a sub standard roast. Wont be returning again all 6 of us were disappointed and did not rate service at all
