What an amazing day out, loads of messy fun xxx

User

We had such a great day. Loads of fun for the children and great obstacles and activities along the way xx

Visited today for the first time with our 11,yr old daughter, to do the adventure trail. I knew before I arrived I would have to pay the entrance fee even though I wasn't intending on going on anything. My daughter absolutely loved the place, getting very wet and muddy, I have to say it was worth the entrance fee just to watch them and participate in the day. As for the the trail itself I did have a little go at a few and really enjoyed it. Afterwards we sat near the lake at one of the picnic tables for our lunch. Fantastic day out and well worth every penny. Will definitely be doing the trail again with our grandchildren and also want to look at the other activities here.

Only came to drop our teenage son off for a party and ended up staying the whole afternoon. After a walk round the lake to watch the kids on the inflatable obstacle course (which they all loved) we sat outside the cafe in the sun with cold drinks and listened to a fabulous live singer while the kids had their party food indoors. Really lovely, clean, well kept facility. Our first visit and we'll definitely be back to do more of the activities.

Manley Mere ticked every box for our wedding day (05/08/2017) before, during and after our big day. Beautiful setting and gorgeous views, our guests were amazed and had such an amazing day with us. We were lucky enough to have kind and understanding Kate and Alistair to help, advise and reassure us. They're relaxed approach made us feel at ease. Our day couldn't of been any more perfect and we can't thank you both and Emily for your amazing efforts. I would recommend Manley Mere to anyone looking for the perfect venue.

Thank you once again, we will be returning in the future xxx

Had the best day at the aqua park today so much fun and thank you so much to the great team of lifeguards...my daughter became really overwhelmed and the staff (Penny) went above and beyond to keep things fun for her and our family.. excellent staff...excellent equipment totally made up with the whole experience.. well done Manley Mere

User

Had an AWESOME time during bank holiday at the Aqua Park! Would definitely go again.

I couldn't find any info regarding the charge for parking but not a major issue.

User

Had a Fabulous time at the aqua park ... we will definately be going again.

User

Great fun and loads to do with the kids. You have to get into the spirit of things and not be afraid to get muddy and try out new things. £10 each and parking £2 for all day is good value as you can stay as long as you like. Bring a picnic and like us we go for a lovely hot chocalate or chips after we finish the trail and clean up. Go in try it for yourselves.

User

Great day out for all the family, great adventures for the kids, and lovely walk for the Grandparents. I think £10 each very reasonable considering the amount of time you spend in there; over 70’s were free and I believe under 4’s are also free although we didn’t have any in our party. Will definitely be going again.

User

Great day out for all ages. Loads to do. Change of clothes is advised. Good muddy fun

User

Great day out - the walks, kayaking, and the inflatable water park are all top notch.

User

Gorgeous Sunday round the mere this weekend, so lucky to have this on our doorstep

User

Brilliant day out! We spent most of the day there so £10 each wasn’t too bad plus my 4 year old was free (as are over 70s). The kids loved it and got very wet and very muddy! I’ve not laughed so much in ages. You don’t have to go on/over/under/through any of the obstacles - there is always a path round them. It’s very refreshing to go somewhere where Health & safety just goes out of the window (although you do have to sign your life away before you go round!). The washing facilities are quite primitive but it fitted in with the day. Would definitely go back. Not sure I agree with the £2 parking fee though

Good opportunity for children (and adults if they choose) to get very very muddy and to enjoy a big variety of play...things to sit on, spin on, run on, wobble on and ride on. This is grubby, wet, outdoor play at its best. We were there all afternoon, with our group of children aged from 4 to 13. There's more to do for the slightly older children. The showering/changing facilities at the end are very very basic...just cold water hose pipes to get the worse of the mud off. Take plenty of bin bags, an old towel and a spare set of clothes.

User

My two grandsons 11 and 9 boys, had a great time, I thought it was very overpriced tho, we paid £10 each two adults two children, even tho we had no intention of going on anything there wasn't anything for adults , (we're in our 60s) there wasn't even enough seating around to sit and watch, and the changing facility's were very poor indeed, the cold water hose pipe and Mail and female tin huts were so bad people were getting changed outside on the grass.

More info about being unsuitable for pushchairs or people bad on there feet would be helpful too before you pay to walk around .we saw some quite old people with walking difficulties struggling round some of the pathways were very slippery and uneven. I wonder where all the money you pay goes as no staff we're on the route, or signposts to an easier route to help.

User

Love this place but after our visit in Friday its put me off a bit. We've been bitten to death by horse flies and my legs are a mess.. when I mentioned this to a member of staff he just laughed!I had my 2 year old son with me and think if you know this is a problem maybe tell people with young children instead of laughing about it. Such a shame as we had a great day and I do love it here.

I know you can't help that they are there but a heads up would help.

User

What a shame, I’ve been coming here for years for lovely dogs walks and days out. Even had it shortlisted for our wedding. It’s always been a busy place full of families and other walkers. We came today to find the place full of drunk groups that where rude and refused the let people pass, letting their dogs chase and annoy other groups of people including ourselves and leaving wrappers everywhere making the place look messy. I’m disappointed there wasn’t anyone manning the area and keeping an eye on everyone.
