User

We stayed here this weekend our first outing in our new caravan, site was perfect and lots of friendly people around offering help and new friends for the children. We will be back.

User

We have now site our third new van on this site because it has all we need. Good clean site, great wardens who are only to pleased to help. Great walks and pubs that let you take dogs in, pity they let kids in as well. Chester/ Wrexham are just up the road, with a good bus service if needed. Great attractions only a short drive away. Ice Farm, candle factory, Crocky Trail ( get to get wet and dirty for kids) Take a clean/ dry set of clothes with you.

User

This our 2nd visit to this site with our tourer. Our 1st visit was our very first outing in our then new-to-us caravan three years ago. This time we are hosting our grandchildren in pairs for two days each. Lovely facilities including a heated in-ground swimming pool, games room, walks.

User

This is our 4th season on this site, we love how friendly everyone is. Excellent shower block and pool.

A great site for children. The site site is well maintained and has beautiful views.

User

Stayed mid week as a late booking this week. We have had a fabulous time. This is our third time and its just as brilliant as the first. The facilities are great, the shower/toilets are lovely, spacious and clean. There is a family shower and a baby bath availible too. The children's play area is lovely and filled with sand. The games room has a ping pong table and pool. The tennis courts are great, with free racquets to use. There is a lovely dog walk where we picked blackberrys. Lots to do in the surrounding areas too. Wardens were hapoy and helpful. Thank you. It does seem to be missing a shop but a shop and cafe is in the pipeline ļæ½

User

Lovely clean and well-looked after site. Permanent residents are friendly and supportive. Toilet blocks are new and cleaned everyday. My little boy loves the pool.

User

Just got home from a long weekend, first time here and will defiantly be back. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, the site was lovely and clean great for the kids to play. Can't recommend enough

User

Just back from an amazing stay at Manor Wood. Amazing spotless facilities, friendly staff and would highly recommend. We camped with an electric hook up and the pitches were so spacious. The heated pool was a massive hit with the kids. So much to do, we didnā€™t leave the site once! Will definitely be returning soon.

User

I have just sited my caravan here for me and my two children. It's a beautiful site and facilities are excellent. Everyone I have met have been very friendly. Owners are lovely and caring and I'm looking forward to welcoming back the wardens who helped me when i went to visit the first time and made me so welcome. An excellent site.

User

Had an excellent 2 nights here mid-week, camping at the end of the school rush. Couldnā€™t be happier. Staff were fantastic, very helpful. Facilities were the best weā€™ve ever had whilst camping. Will definitely return if over this way again. Keep up the good work.

User

Booked this site on a friend's recommendation. The site was lovely, clean and had loads to do for my two 13 year old charges. Staff more than helpful. Clean showers and toilets, rubbish cleared every day. We only had bikes while here but it didn't stop us cycling to the Cheshire Ice Cream Farm in the rain! Lovely pub up the road (bit pricey but lovely food and nice atmosphere.) would heartily recommend and will definitely return!

User

Arrived Monday here till Sunday, such a lovely peaceful family site! Everywhere touristy' is a car drive away other than the Cock O'Barton pub (Fantastic, a little pricey but worth it!) but that's what makes the site even better, it's just pure family time! The site is immaculate, toilets, swimming pool, tennis courts, fishing lakes, shrubs, gardens etc! Fantastic wardens, always a pleasure to return! We'll be back!! The Evans' ļæ½ļæ½ļæ½ļæ½ļæ½

User

Absolutely loved it here. Just getting ready to leave after a 9 night stay. Fabulous clean facilities, super helpful staff. My 10 year old has made some lovely friends and had a fantastic time in and out of the pool and playing tennis. Dogs loved the fab walks. Can't wait to come back. Don't want to leave.

User

Absolutely love this site. Great facilities. Clean and tidy. Great shower/toilet block and really good pool area. The staff are lovely and friendly too. We keep coming back here time and again. Definitely one of our favourite places to stay! So good we've put our name on the waiting list to permanently site our caravan here.

User

Just returned today from a five night stop over at Manor Wood (our fourth visit) we have a large 5th Wheel RV and are always sited on a hard standing pitch of a good size with electric and water. The staff are very friendly nothings too much trouble. Beautifully kept site and surroundings. Shower block/toilets and laundry facilities are spotless. There are plenty of lakes for peaceful fishing and a really lovely outdoor heated swimming pool. We were pleasantly surprised to see the construction taking place of a new convenience store on site.... Which is the only thing the site has been lacking.... Not that it has ever been a big deal for us as just a five minute car ride takes you into a small village with shops etc. Great gastro pub a few minutes walk at the top of the road too. No wonder we keep coming back..... It's my favourite caravan park. Giving it 4.5 star ļæ½ rating....... and 5 ļæ½ when the new convenience store opens.

User

Just came back from a 2 night stayed which we enjoyed. Great shower and toilet facilities. My only gripe was it doesnā€™t state what times the pool was open and closed if it did I didnā€™t see it ? To which it closed at 5.30 ish which on a hot day is way to early. Also we wished there was a shop on site for convenience. We went to Chester zoo came back thinking we could go to the pub for tea after driving around for 2 hours going to 4 different pubs all fully booked or you couldnā€™t even park, popping into wales twice and back, we finally found a Chinese. You couldnā€™t of wrote it in a book lol.

User

It's a lovely place we're here till Sunday and we are in the 2nd day of the holiday and it's the 1st time we have been here and love it

User

I won't be back. It was like being on a council estate. On arrival you are issued with a list of rules none of which appear to be adhered to or enforced. Dogs running loose, one rule states no motorised children's scooters or skateboards of which there were plenty. Loud music, gob shyte parents, unsupervised small children near roads-awful. And as for the state of the art toilets/showers, they might look pretty but when you have a push button system that can't make its mind up between hot or cold it's not 'state of the art'. I've paid less per night and been happier. Awful. Awful. Awful!!
