Martello tower f was completed in1812, it was part of England's defence against the threatened invasion by the emperor Napoleon of France.
Your entrance fee of just £3. 00 allows you to explore this beautiful ancient monument and meet the variety of pet animals and poultry contained in the secluded dry moat.

Hi its been a long hard winter but the sun is shining at last the animals ar back at the tower and we open tomorow weather permiting.Hope to see all our freinds soon
closed today for the 2012 season. despite the bad weather it has been a verry sucsecfull season with lots of happy visitors. over the next few days all of the animals will be tucked up for the winter in there nice warm winter quarters.hope to see all of you next spring,untill then we will keep you posted on how they all fair in the cold weather

Happy day in the bird maternity room at the tower,we hatched a beautifull turkey from terry and tracy's egg plus a white Sarama bantam (the smallest chickens in the world) pictures to follow soon
