Maryland Preschool At St Leonard'S

Maryland is a church run pre-school which aims to meet the individual needs of each child, and extend a special quality of care to all those involved.

Maryland Pre-school at St Leonard's has been run by St Leonard's Church since 1989 as an integrated part of its programme for families. Maryland is distinctive as the only Christian run and led nursery locally.

At Maryland we use a 'learning through play' approach, and in doing so we aim to provide a secure and stimulating environment where children feel valued and confident. Learning comes from exploration and first-hand experiences, designed to meet the needs of a child's all round development – physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual.
