I saw this on Facebook and really felt the need to share. It gave me the shivers just reading it, and as to how accurate it is. I have never seen a more perfect poem, written in the saddest way. And to all the poor souls addicted to this terrible illness and their families who suffer with them stay strong . Teach your children the powers of any kind of addiction before it takes a hold on their and your lives.

Michael Stanley Ephgrave Peacefully passed away in Forest Place Nursing Home, Buckhurst Hill, on the 31st January 2019, aged 73 years A Beloved Husband, Dad, Stepdad, Grandad and Great Grandad - he will be sadly missed by all that loved him.

We seem to be asked more and more to carry out funerals much further afield than our usual area so today we are travelling for a funeral tomorrow in Bolton to ensure the Funeral runs to time and all goes smoothly in a place I’m not familiar with. We certainly do go “that extra mile”!! Or in this case 300 odd.

Our final Funeral for 2018 is nearing the end. I would like to thank all the families who have entrusted their loved ones to the Care of Masterson Funeral Home Ltd. I would also like to especially thank my family and all my fantastic Staff who without them would not be able to give our families the 200% service we give to have a wonderful team means everything. Our annual memorial service on Sunday is for those people I have invited to attend and that have sent their replies for attendance or I have personally messaged or emailed that individual. Due to safety numbers in the church and Masterson Funeral Home Ltd respecting Pastor Tony Mayes I politely request that people DO NOT just turn up and expect to be allowed to attend unfortunately we have now reached our maximum numbers allowed for safety of everyone. The Undertaker This is for the Undertaker, Who's story is sad to tell, For what he does is never mentioned, And often overlooked as well. He's not at all what you might picture, He's not wrinkled, old and grey, His face is not pasty white, Like storybooks portray. Some people laugh and make their jokes, And some turn up their nose, And many think that he is strange, For the life that he chose. But there are many things that they don't see, And even more that they don't know. ...Like all the nights he gets no rest, But never lets it show. I have seen him work both day and night, With no time to eat or sleep. To care for those in mourning, and comfort those who weep. The load he carries on his shoulders, Is more than you or I could bear. But he always seems to find the time, to show you that he cares. So when you see the undertaker, Make sure you see the man, That does the job that no one wants And that no one understands. Take the time to shake his hand, And a moment to just say "hi", I think you'll find the undertaker, Is just an ordinary guy.

Jerome and his staff provided the most beautiful service for my 23 month old daughter yesterday. Mastersons went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Small things i mentioned in the beginning, was all taken into account, and every detail was remembered.

Scarlett had the most beautiful send off, it was perfect, fit for a princess. I know she wouldve loved it, and been proud of jerome and his staff for all their hard work.

Jerome treated scarlett as scarlett from the very start, with the upmost respect, and looked after my baby when i no longer could.

As a mum, this is something i wont ever forget, and i would recommend anyone to go with mastersons. The one place where its not all about the business, but about supporting the family, respecting our loved ones, and providing the most perfect send off.
