Black pearls are the only pearls in the world that are not artificially cultivated due to the complexity of this process. Large Tahitian pearls are considered rare as only very few of them in natural conditions reach the sizes suitable for jewelry. For our ring Sonya 8 we used such kind of large pearl and placed inside it a triangular cut diamond.
