About Mcec Palmers Green Mosque
MCEC also known as Palmers Green Mosque is one of the newest but already well established mosques in North London. With regular events and activities it has a growing congregation who savour visiting and being involved.

Muslim Community and Education Centre, Palmers Green Mosque, is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation. Our primary aim is to provide a place of worship, educational and social facilities for the local Muslim community in accordance with the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). The Trust also aims to provide a range of culturally sensitive services for the wider communities of North London, drawing upon our Islamic values, with a view to improving quality of life and enhancing community cohesion.
Our Objectives are:
Focus on the needs of the diverse Muslim community, by the provision of a place of worship and education, whilst ensuring these services are open to all.
Provide Muslims and non-Muslims with the opportunity to learn and understand Islam, through dialogue, discussion and social interaction and to dispel the common misconceptions of Islam.
Meet the needs of the community by promoting spiritual, health, education and social enhancement, through policy, strategic development and services.

Religious places are sacred. There are no doubts about this. Whether attacks are on synagogues, churches, mosques, temples or gurdwaras, the sanctity of such places cannot be allowed to be sacrificed.
The last few days of attacks on minority and religious communities culminated in this weekend's attack in Pittsburgh at the Tree of Life synagogue is a symptom of the toxic world we are increasingly living in. One which we must all combat.
During a bris, a ceremony to mark a chi...ld’s birth, a time for celebration, the inhuman act of violence was committed and mowed down our brothers and sisters of faith in cold blood and hatred.
We as a Muslim community pray for those departed souls and those injured. We all pray for peace in our world and for all the souls lost through hatred filled vile acts of violence and crimes against humanity.

A One Day Course taught by the Imam of Palmers Green Mosque, Shaikh Subhan Dalvi.
In order to register for this event, it is necessary to purchase a ticket. The price of a ticket bought directly from the reception at Palmers Green Mosque is £12.00 and a ticket bought via Eventbrite is £13.52.
The course is based on Imam Abu Isa al-Tirmidhi's "Ash-Shamail al-Muhammadiyya", a widely-acclaimed work which details different aspects of the character and lifestyle of Allah's Messeng...er (May Allah bless him and grant him peace).
The course draws from the work of Moroccan scholar Sheikh Muhammad Abd Hayy al-Kattani's entitled Munyat al-Saa'il. This book beautifully captures the essence of each chapter of the Shamail, allowing readers to draw ever closer to Allah's Messenger (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) and study his salient features, as though they are directly observing his blessed personage.
In an era where Muslims are being detached from Allah's Messenger (May Allah bless him and grant him peace), the lifeline of a person's belief, it is hoped this course will help rekindle the flame of love for him and inspire readers to emulate his blessed example.
The course enables the student to learn about the Prophet (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) over the course of just one day.
The course includes tuition from Shaikh Subhan Dalvi and supporting course material.
This is a rare event with the potential to be of great benefit to the participants. People are strongly encouraged to make use of this opportunity.
All attendees will receive a certificate to indicate completion of the course.
The course schedule is as follows:
9.30 Registration 10.00 Part 1 1.00 Zuhr Prayer and Lunch 2.15 Asr Prayer 2.30 Part 2 4.03 Maghrib Prayer 4.30 Dinner
The course includes a light lunch and a delicious dinner.
Places are limited so it is encouraged to book early.
In order to ensure the maximum benefit is obtained from the course no children under sixteen are allowed.
The course will start promptly at 10.00 so it is essential that participants come at 9.30 to register.

It will be appreciated that for a one-day event which includes the course material, lunch and dinner this is very good value.

The mosque sets an excellent example of how to bring muslims from all backgrounds together and has many services and facilities for members of all ages and backgrounds to engage with.
They also have very good relationships with the Non-Muslim residents and neighbours.
The mosque is the best one.
It could be further improved by allowing new committee members, working with the Darjee next door to exchange parking facilities, especially during events, Friday and Ramadan.
Prayers are very well organised an excellent mosque for locals and people who attend it
