MAP remains deeply concerned about the serious risk to the life and welfare of Palestinians amid the worsening security situation in Gaza.

Yesterday, patients in Gaza’s hospitals organised a sit-in in central Gaza City calling for an “immediate and unconditional end of the suffering of the Gaza patients.”

Following the success of MAP's Cycle Palestine events in recent years, we are now launching Trek Palestine, a sponsored challenge event for experienced walkers.
... The trek includes ancient trade routes and historical landmarks. Walkers will also witness the challenges Palestinian communities face living under occupation.
Walkers will discover the dramatic landscape of the Jordan Valley, visit Jerusalem, Bethlehem and many other fascinating and troubled cities. There will be fun and friendship along the way, as well as the chance to help MAP raise money to support the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees.

We urgently need funds for; trauma supplies, essential supplies for surgery, disposables for Gaza's Central Blood Bank, limb reconstruction equipment.

MAP is one of the most dedicated and effective groups aiding the people of Palestine -- wherever they are and in whatever activity they undertake they do it well. They not only themselves take medical care to places that otherwise would not have any, but also train Palestinians, male and female, to provide and extend that care in/to their communities. I saw Swee's presentation about this on Friday. What an amazing and brave woman; as are all the people who dedicate themselves to selflessly support others. This massacre has been hushed up, ignored and silenced for 35 years too long.
