*** UPDATE: Our little lady has now been collected by the dog warden and a potential owner has come forward and has gone to view her*** STRAY DOG: we have had a stray dog handed in to us by members of the public. She was found running down Tawney street towards the cross roads in the direction of Haven High. She is very sweet and clearly well looked after. Sadly she does not have a microchip or a working microchip. so this is making a reunion very difficult. 😢 Please contact us on 01205 366872 if you think she belongs to you. 🐶🐩

***UPDATE- owners have been found. Thank you for sharing *** This little girl has sadly been hit by a car and brought to us for care and treatment by a member of the public. She was found down Carlton Road in Boston and although she’s microchipped we are struggling to contact her owners so if anyone recognises her please can you call the practice on 01205 366872.

A member of public has brought this cat into us this morning as she is in a bad way. She was found down Irby Street in Boston. Please share to help us trace her owners.

We have had a very sweet, but very frightened little Yorkshire Terrier brought into us this evening! She is chipped but unfortunately her microchip has never been registered so her owners are un-traceable ☹️. A member of the public found the dog running loose near Staniland school and Woodville playing park, just off Sleaford road. She is safe for the night but we need to find her owners as soon as possible. The surgery is now closed, but if you have any information about this dog the practice will be open again at 8am tomorrow morning. 🐶

We’ve very sadly had a deceased elderly female ginger cat brought to us today found near Staniland School (no microchip). Please contact the surgery if you have any information that might help us trace her owners.

RTA: Sadly we have had a cat brought into us this morning who was involved in an RTA. He was a Large castrated male who was mostly black with 4 white paws :( The RTA happened at the roundabout near Liquorpond street (A16) where he was picked up and brought to us. Unfortunately he has now passed away and we are looking for his owners as he was not chipped but clearly very loved and looked after :(

Today we are starting to clear and reorganise the practice in preparation for our Refurbishment, which begins on Monday 12 November. Because of this we are only booking emergencies today . ever since we moved here from leic 13 years ago we have been here Alistair and all his staff are just great would not go anywhere else he is great with Pekingese they are all fantastic so caring

Alistair was the vet we had & he's a top bloke all in all top service & no rip of prices well worth the drive

We had a poorly little westie with alistairs professional care we had her for much longer than any of us imagined the care in this vets is second to none xx

Very warm and welcoming. Have been brilliant with my cat and dog. Cat has been spayed here, recent visits with bladder issues, all is well now. Dog has been neutered and frequent visits with other issues. Everyone was very helpful and kind couldnt ask for better service! Thanks to everyone at pilgrim vet!

My wife and my family have been with Pilgrim vets for over 8 years and believe me have helped and saved many of our pets from near to death situations , so if you want a vets that is welcoming , friendly , trustworthy and very loving to your pets then your bound to get the best for your animals both caring and fantastic value for money . they do a great job in all situations and dont beat around the bush . your pets get 5* treatment no matter what so please give them a go as you wont be disappointed !!!

I've been with the practice since it started, and cannot speak highly enough of Alistair and all his staff. They are always friendly, helpful and professional, but most of all they compassionate to the needs of my dogs. I have complete faith in all the vets and nurses and trust them implicitly, I know they will go beyond the call of duty if necessary. I would certainly recommend this practice to anyone.

Excellent vets had to take my cat and then got sad news I had to have her put to sleep and the vets was so kind and very understanding

All my animals have always gone to pilgrim vets and I remember my mum taking all our family pets there when I was little they have always been friendly and supportive. Alistair and his team are the best vets. I travell a 4 hour round trip for an appointment with alistair. Cant recommend him highly enough. The nurses are also lovely. I wouldnt take my bulldogs anywhere else.
