On for a few days we have a slight change to our lunch menu. The white Oaks pumpkin massaman is a must try 😋

Hi folks... After 2 weeks of renovations/ holidays the doors at Mekong open again on Tuesday (18th) and we have a new lunch menu to wet your appetite. 🇹🇭️🇻🇳️😋

Hi folks so things haven't gone to plan and we have been forced to close over the next few days to add finishing touches at the Nerve. 🙄
We will now be reopened on Tuesday (18/09/18) and completely back to normal then ☺️

Hi folks.. Mekong will be closed until Friday the 14th of September. We are having some work done to the kitchen so we're all off to Spain while that happens... I know its a hard life 😎
We have a new menu starting for the reopening and have an Autumn taster menu coming up in early October. 😋

What a wee gem of a place! Derry is lucky to have this gorgeous restaurant!! Food is amazing!! Fresh, full of flavour and really authentic. Staff are amazing! Couldnt do enough for us. Really great buzz about it and good craic. Welcomed our 9 year old daughter and provided half portions of their amazing food for her, adapting the spice level to her preference so she got to experience proper, healthy, tasty food. Support local, small businesses like this!

We had a beautiful night on Saturday. Super tasting healthy food,AMAZING customer service and chilled out vibe. Fantastic addition to our wee city!

Visited Mekong Street food on Saturday. The food was amazing and authentic. I had the mussels to start (which I would definitely recommend), followed by the Panang Curry with prawns (flavours were amazing). Friendly, welcoming service was great too. Looking forward to visiting again � x

Mekong Street Food @ The Nerve Centre is beautiful. A tasty, fresh, colourful good for you lunch - a lovely find as I made my way into see a movie at the Nerve Centre as part of their ongoing Intercultural & Anti-Racism festival I had a baguette with avocado, chilli, salad with melon mayo. A real suprise burst of flavours. Make your way to Mekong @ Nerve Centre or to their Street Food van if you see it around! Very reasonably priced too!

Me and my partner had a starter and main both dishes were exceptional one of the best duck dishes I have ever had great fusion of flavours was delicious without a doubt one of the best Thai food I have had and the service was excellent Shannon was really lovely, informative and attentive, would highly recommend and we will definately be back

In tonight for the 7 course trip down mekong!

From start to finish everyone was on the ball and bending over backwards to help anyone. (Even got my fone charged on the sly)



From good atmosphere to great service and even better food my night was made!!



Me and the missus never leave here and tonight i think they did themselves proud, we look forward to the next one.

I tried Mekong for lunch today, it was absolutely top notch! The pork patties with rice noddles and chicken wings were unreal.

Hidden little gem in the city centre. Food is amazing!!!! The flavour and thought that goes in to each course is unbelievable. Authentic food. If I could rate ten stars I would....

Had a lovely two course here today wS beaut defs recommend , good clean food , great service in a relaxed atmosphere , can’t wait to go back and I’m a strict vegetarian so that says a lot 5 stars all the way

Great place very unassuming. Food was fresh an full of spicey loveliness. Staff were attentive an knew their menu. Would recommend this little hideaway for a fab night out. Thank you. �

Four courses of amazing last night - I had vegetarian, he had meat. Neither of us could pick which part was our favourite, each bite was better than the last. Far and away the best food in Derry - and the only place you'll get such authentic and different Asian food. Nowhere else provides an experience like it. What a feast. Super attentive staff as well. Just go and eat here, can't recommend enough. Maith sibh. <3

Food is delicious. Deffs worth a try, it’s something different too. Tried a lot on the menu and never been disappointed. Would recommend the duck it was amazing!

Came tonight for with 8 of my friends for a meal, it was hands down one of the best meals weve ever had, everyone loved it and everyones meal was amazing we were all sharing as all of it was so nice , service was brillant and we loved it will definitley be back xx

Bona fide Thai and Vietnamese dishes. Personal favourites are the chicken bánh mì and the duck breast from the lunch and evening menus respectively. Would also recommend both curries; Vietnamese yellow curry and Panang. As for the staff, everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Another fantastic evening in Me-Kong! The food is so fresh and fragrant and the service is excellent. I’ll be back soon!
