Must say went to the Harlow one couple of weeks ago, and could not thought it at all, friendly staff from opening the door all the way though out the meal, food was amazing 100% I would recommend and I’ll be going back again !!!!! �

Love this place, amazing food, especially the seafood options (monkfish kebab, mix fish kebab, king prawns) which are very lean. Very friendly service, and a special mention to Mike as his hospitality is always exceptional.

First time me and my boyfriend had been to Melin and can honestly say will be coming back again and again. Can not find a single fault. Service was excellent, food fantastic, brilliant atmosphere and entertainment. Fulfilled request of upstairs dining and was worth it. Will come back in few weeks for my mums birthday for sure 👍🏻🤗

Fabulous. Had birthday meal here last night. Table upstairs as i had asked. It wasn’t guaranteed but they did it which was fabulous. Food - well it was amazing. We just couldn’t eat it all. Presented beautifully and tasted great. Service was five star from all the staff. The porn star martinis amazing. Well we did have 10 between 4 of us and pink champagne and shots and many other drinks �The outside terrace is fabulous. Singer was very good and a really lovely atmosphere. Definitely recommended. We will be back. Well done and thank you.

After being told different things and reading other reviews about this restaurant Me & Hubby did decide to go last night for our 17th wedding anniversary, I telephoned at 6pm to ask if I could book a table but was told just come down. Arrived about 830pm and asked if we wanted to sit down/upstairs we chose upstairs (it gets very hot & stuffy as the air con could only be felt downstairs). We had a friendly waiter show us to the table, was given a drinks menu asap, within 10m we had drinks shortly followed by bread and dips, our food order was taken and despite being very busy with larger groups/parties we had our dinner quickly. The food was amazing and very tasty (we did order to much and was asked if we wanted to take it home - we declined but could see others that had not), the entertainment started and went on around us. The waiter was 'on the ball" and within minutes of finishing our drinks we had another one on order. THE tribute act was very good, The atmosphere was buzzing and everyone was joining in and enjoying it. The table was cleared and cleaned quickly and we were ready to leave by 1040pm. We really enjoyed our time here, we will go again and would recommend 100%. The only little 'thing' I would say is that the restaurant did charge us a 10% service charge which is fine but we would of rather of left a tip than been charged one.

Went on a Tuesday evening with three friends. We were looked after very well by a very friendly, helpful waiter. Food was lovely and service was excellent. Also I am vegan and was very pleased with the fact that I had a number of options for starter and for main.

I went at lunch time... the ambience of the restaurant is fantastic, beautiful space lovely decor, perfect for a birthday celebration or just dinner with friends/family. The staff were very attentive and lovely. Food was better than some of the review I read on here. Seasoned, cooked perfectly. Cocktails are superb. The Turkish beer which I had , can’t remember what it’s called , was perfect. I can’t fault anything at all.

Went there for the first time last night (30th June 2018) for a hen Party. Food was great and the entertainment was great. We all had a great time. It was disappointing that when we got our bill, they charged us drinks we didn’t have. That was £30 overcharged. They did correct it after we told them. I remember that I ordered a pina colada £9, and I never got it and they added it to our bill. Another table ordered a bottle of wine and they added to our bill. Had a great night but at the end it was a bit disappointing!!

Went for dinner last night with 3 girlfriends for a catch up, we were sat by the window, which has no blinds and the sun was in my face the whole time... really quite frustrating.... then the singer tstarted and she was very good but too loud and we couldn't hear each other talking, starters were really rushed and they nearly pulled a plate from one of us while we were still eating!.... however we then asked to be moved to the balcony outside... still being able to hear the music but able to have a conversation and enjoy the rest of our meal.



The food was amazing... do think you should be given the option of upstairs or down stairs on arrival...



Second part of the entertainment was really good and the belly dancer was great! ..

I went there last night with my girlfriend and we had a great evening. The food was good and there was good entertainment as well. However I have to mention the cost of the drinks. I had 2 small bottles of Becks Blue and they were £5 each. Later I ordered 2 Irish coffees ( one of them without alcohol) and they were nearly £8 each, so that meant £26 for 4 drink that are probably worth about a tenner in reality. All in all that means I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 4. It's a good restaurant though.

Hi we went to Melin Resturant on 12th May for my daughters 18th birthday, the staff were really friendly and helpful although the service was lacking, first as I requested to sit upstairs where the entertainment was, they told me they would try, only to be told when we got there that1) upstairs was booked and 2) the entertainment didn't start to later, why couldn't they say that at the time of booking, then they messed up the food order so we only got half of what we ordered and had to wait for the rest, although some of the food was really nice, don't quite know what was going on with the rice, not good at all, the staff were really apologetic, but still, all I can think is as they haven't been open long maybe teething problems and thing may get better, but for the price not spectacular

Fantastic atmosphere, food great, unfortunately waiting 2 and a half hours for your dinner not acceptable. To be told they were short of staff is also a poor excuse as you are aware of the bookings you have, management is beyond poor. If you choose to go I would suggest as they open to avoid waiting. You need to have less tables, not be so greedy and look after your customers so they return, on this experience I will not return after parting with over £600! Disappointed �

Sat 19th 10 people 8pm got starters at 830 , had to wait until 10.15 for meal , we were offered 1 bottle of Prosecco as an apology ( between 10 ? ). Food when it did arrive was excellent , great atmosphere , lively. Cost £120 per couple and night ruined by late food and lack of action from manager. Not sure if I would return

Poor will not return !!! The price doesn’t match up to the quality .

Terrible tasting dishes my husband food was not eaten ( didn’t charge ) mine wasn’t eaten either . Grills looked lovely , rice tasted so strange .

£6 for water ? I think they need to re look at prices . If your location was right then maybe but I sat having a meal next to takeaways and local shop with locals walking around , staring at you while you eat .!!!!

Food was okay, like other Turkish restaurants I have visited. The belly dancer and live music was good. 4 meals, 8 drinks came to £133, which is overpriced for what we had, especially as the restaurant is located in a pretty rough part of Harlow. Air con was blasting on our back, one waiter said he couldn’t turn it down but then we asked another who said they could. Music was loud, so everyone was shouting so difficult to hold a conversation. Won’t be returning.

Food was nice if a little expensive for what it is. Service was very lacking though. Was sat down and was not given any menus or asked about drinks and was 10-15 minutes before we got them. Almost to the point as though we was forgotten. Surely getting customers a drink should be first priority. Group of 4 and Bill was over £130 not cheap for a couple of kebabs, a stew full of red peppers andittle meat and a vegetable lasagne.

Atmosphere great , air con which is a god send lately , orderd starters which was lovely , ordered main which was lamb Shish with yoghurt, very disappointing, lamb Shish in shitloads of tom sauce and a pot and a half of yoghurt either side with no salad or fuck all , only to discover chopped up bread mixed in with the lamb which was very soggy and off putting ( me wondering where the left over Bread goes ) , can’t fault the service but quite expensive for what you get ( service charge ) let alone tip . Waiters very helpful but always coming over asking if you need drinks even though you have 3 quarters of glass of wine ( £6 a glass by the way ) maybe I chose bad on my main but still very expensive, I’ll try again and just stick to soft drink and just stick to a kebab

Was so looking forward to going here and on arrival it was nice, but the food came and found a big black hair in my friends rice, i called over the staff to complain to get spoken to like s**t and told its because the food was rushed out for us and i maybe a customers hair, told there replace the rice but nothing else, so i ask for a manager and get told theres no manager on shift, so i refuse to pay for the meal and told staff im not eating mine either but still had the cheek to chatge me anyways, and had 3 staff get hostile, im telling you now dont waste your time its disqusting food and behaviour, i tryed contacting ali for refund but no word back
