Wonderful evening at Mere to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We both had the six course tasting menu (minus the veal which they exchanged for a delicious salmon dish). We also had the matching wines which complemented each dish perfectly. The staff were delightful - attentive without being overbearing and the ‘icing on the cake’ was meeting the lovely Monica Galetti who came to say hello at every table and happily posed for photos too. I would highly recommend Mere for a great night out or a special treat.

What a brilliant evening at Mere on Tuesday the17th April. I would say probably the best food I have ever eaten. The evening started with being greeted warmly by the staff who without exception were all amazing. Champagne was the starter followed by private dining with excellent wines. Thoroughly recommend this wonderful restaurant and bar. Give it a try you won't be disappointed. Jim x

We had the most wonderful experience last night. The service and attention to detail from all the staff made all the difference. The food was amazing, superb, delicious and delivered everything it promised. The cherry on the cake was when Monica came out to speak to the guests but all the team were great. Special touches like signing the book we bought and the sweet message for my partner when they found out it was his birthday. Once again, this was not just a meal but a truly memorable experience. We will be back.

Visiting the Mere was a very pleasant experience. The welcome and the goodbye admirable. We three had a tasting menu. Each course was served beautifully with adequate description for food and wine.

Then the appearance of chef Monica Galetti who chatted at each table was so lovely.

Visited for the first time last night on the back of recommendations from friends for an anniversary dinner with my partner. We went for the tasting menu and were bowled over from start to finish! The presentation and the craft in each dish is staggering. A great ambiance and lovely team are the icing on the cake.

This is a fabulous restaurant. All of the staff were utterly charming, the sommelier knowledgable and unassuming-I went in with preconceived ideas about celebrity chefs and left with a feeling of complete satisfaction. I love it!

The restaurant is an amazing setting and has a fantastic atmosphere. And it was lovely to be greeted by the chef, a real personal dining experience and setting for a romantic or business lunch. The food was real art and flavours that burst in my mouth.

Thanks so much for the excellent service and we will definitely be returning in the new year on a regular basis. ❤️

My husband and I came from California to visit London for our 5th wedding anniversary, top on our list of experiences was to eat at Mere! I’m a HUGE fan of Monica from watching her culinary artistry on tv, and not only were our expectations met, they were exceeded. The restaurant has a lovely upscale yet warm and welcoming vibe, and everyone we encountered offered amazing service, but the food, omg, the food; we ordered the tasting menu, with wine the accompaniment; all the courses were delicious, of course; but the stars for both my husband and myself were the fish course and the veal with sweetbreads, seriously, I will dream about every bite for years to come :) To finish of our fantastic evening we got to meet Monica in person, gracious and welcoming, taking time from her kitchen to chat with patrons, I like her even more now lol, if you can’t tell, we found the entire experience sublime, hope to make the trek back to the UK someday to go again :)

My first visit to Mere was with friends to celebrate my birthday. David and the team looked after us all so well. With 7 of us to please we all commented on the fab decor, artwork and design and that's before we looked at the menus.



The bar is cosy and comfortable and the downstairs dining room is surprisingly light with great acoustics.



Betwen us we managed to sample the champagne, cocktails and lagers before dinner. The menu was interesting with a good choice and we all commented on how fabulous each course was. A culunary feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds.



The team were all friendly and knowledgeable and we all had a really great evening!



I will need to return to try the tasting menu!

I never give 5 * in my life but this restaurant for sure! The food was absolutely well presented and well balanced . I almost can taste every single sweetness, sour, bitterness and freshness! Well seasoned and not over power! For sure I will take my guests to it!

I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant last night and it did not disappoint,



From the moment of entry to the moment of departure I was waited on hand and foot, nothing was too much trouble



The atmosphere was relaxed but funky the staff were amazing especially Sandra, what a legend I can only describe it as relaxed professionalism,



Now for the food WOW just WOW, I ordered things I wouldn't normally order, some of the accompainments raised my eye brow but I thought just try it and I'm so glad I did because the flavours once put together just spelled heaven.



I walked in to the restaurant expecting big things I walked out wondering if anything ever could beat it.



I wouldn't just recommend it I'd tell you it's a must! I travelled from Chesterfield but now I've been I'd have travelled much further.



We had the rare opportunity to say Hello to Monica whilst she was on the pass.... It truly made our evening and weekend!

I don’t even know why I’m surprised that the food here is just fantastic knowing who’s behind the kitchen. The staff are all amazing and I could say this could be the best dining experience I’ve had in years. And if you’re lucky, you might even meet the master chef herself! �

Great food and service. 6 course tasting menu highly recommended. Finished our lunch in the bar with an amazing cocktail mixed by the lovely Adam. Will definitely be back.

First time dining here for my birthday yesterday evening. From the moment you arrive, until the moment you leave, the whole experience is one of sumptuous treats without any stuffiness or intimidation. The staff are a real asset to Monica & David - every member that we interacted with were delightful & given that we opted for the tasting menu with matched wines, their knowledge of both items were impressive. Meeting David was a pleasure & the pride & passion of Mere shines through - our daughter is a chef & we can't wait to bring her here. Absolute top dining experience on all levels, thank you very much all the staff that looked after us

Fantastic evening. From the moment you enter the door you feel important. A couple of cocktails kicked off the night ahead of the tasting menu that surpassed expectations. I had hoped Monica was in but nothing prepared for her walking out and talking to each table. Such a lovely lady who is so relaxed and puts everyone at ease. A night to remember and definitely repeat. Quite simply amazing.

Delicious food and friendly service - Michelin quality dining without the pretension. We went for lunch and it was wonderful. We asked for our chosen dessert to be altered so as not to include alcohol and this was done with zero fuss. Highly recommend.

Another amazing visit to Mere. The team are amazing (Adam makes the best cocktails) and Monica is truly lovely and creates truly wonderful dishes. Couldn’t recommend Mere more highly
