The New Room in Bristol has announced that lifelong Methodist, and founder of the world-renowned Glastonbury Festival, Michael Eavis has become its first Patron. To mark the occasion, the Revd A Ward Jones, Chair of the New Room Trustees, presented Michael with a copy of ‘The Cradle of Methodism – A History of the New Room’ written by Historical Consultant Gary Best.
