Welcome to the Matt Fiddes Martial Arts Basingstoke School.
By following the Matt Fiddes Martial Arts path you will learn how to bring together both mind and body to achieve your goals, be this weight loss, getting fit or boosting confidence and social skills. The Matt Fiddes Martial Arts staff are highly qualified, well trained and motivated to help you get where you want to be, through learning and practising martial arts.
Martial Arts Programmes for all ages and fitness
Matt and his team have used their vast collective experience to develop programmes for people of all ages and levels of fitness, from the "Mighty Matts" pre-school clubs to the latest brand developed solely for women - "Ladies Only". Our philosophy is simple; "Everyone can learn and develop their bodies and minds by learning martial arts in a relaxed, exciting and fun way. Regular training through Matt Fiddes Martial Arts delivers much more than physical improvement. Your strength, flexibility, endurance, balance, and confidence will increase considerably. But this is only the start. Physical skills act as a foundation for something much more important: the development of value skills, both mental and spiritual.
Children at the Matt Fiddes Martial Arts Schools learn life skills such as Respect, Discipline, Goal setting, Concentration, Stranger Danger, First Aid and lots more.

Leadership is Nunchaku for the next 3 weeks including tonight. ... ❓Did you know the nunchaku originated among the indigenous people of the Okinawa island. ❓The word Nunchaku is derived from a short southeast Asain agricolturalmtool that was used for farming rice and soybeans. ❓There are 6 keys parts of the Nunchaku, 1. The Himo (rope or chain), 2. Kontoh (top/where the rope or chain enters), 3. Jokon-Bu (upper area), 4. Chukon-Bu (middle area), 5. Kikon-Bu (lower area) and 6. Kontei (bottom).

... Please arrive nice and early, registrstion for Mighty Matt's will be from 4:45pm. Grading starts at 5:15pm. Juniors and family registration is from 5:15pm, grading starts at 6pm.

Sorry I was unable to attend this evening. I am nearing the end of a nasty run with the Noro Virus. I just wanted to convey a huge well done. Miss Bushnell and Mr Cauchie have spoken extremely highly of you, the effort you've put in and the dedication and attitude to your training. Adaptability is THE number one requirement for success in a changing world. As I've come in and raised the game, you've turned around and simply said "bring it, we're ready" I'm very excited to see your capabilities in grading next week. Mr H
