Michael Swadling Description

UKIP candidate for South Norwood council by-election 2017.

Born in Mayday Hospital when we lived in South Norwood I am a life long Croydonian. Having been a school governor for over 10 years, including a time as vice chair at South Norwood Primary, I know the issues affecting families in Croydon.

I had the privilege to be the Vote Leave Campaign Manager for Croydon and I believe a strong vote for UKIP is necessary to ensure we regain control of our trade, borders and sovereignty. I was also the UKIP parliamentary candidate for Croydon North in the 2017 general election.

As an independent Project Management consultant my role is all about delivery and I am committed to delivering for the people of our borough.

Croydon is plagued by property prices that are too high, increasing street crime, and low paid jobs that don’t allow people to get on.

In Croydon UKIP want to use our schools to foster a more integrated community by proudly flying our flag. We want all our children to have real opportunities by encouraging the growth of technical and grammar schools through Croydon. We will clean up our town by removing the graffiti zones and taking action on littering. Today Croydon Council has employees earning more than the prime minister and is increasing council tax by 4. 9% . UKIP will cap salaries in the town hall and stop excessive tax increases.

If I am elected to represent the people of South Norwood I will work tirelessly to deliver for our town. Not being a career politician I want to ensure at the end of my term I and our politicians have less power and you have more opportunity than today. Croydon’s rules and high taxes get in the way of building our economy and living our lives.

A vote for UKIP is a vote for real change not more of the LibLabCon.
