Isolating heaven six Sinawali and footwork - Focusing on the basics.
Heaven six is one of the first double stick Sinawali drills taught at Mike Krause Martial Arts Academy. The tips of the sticks are always pointing up, and the angles used are the 1 and 2 angles.
Filipino Kali has so much material you could train for 12 years and not do the same sequence in that time.
... This Thursday we will be progressing onto heaven & earth drills.
How do you get good at something?...practice practice practice, easy. Advanced skill is just the basics done well :)

Mike specialises in giving you a life-changing experience. Whether you're there for fitness, confidence, self-defence or anything else you enter a journey which will take you places you never knew existed! I'm particularly indebted for the support I received when I had serious health problems. This is a gym that really cares about you as a person.

Mike Krause has all the hallmarks of a great teacher. He is patient, and always encourages you even when you feel you're never going to 'get it'! His lessons are always interesting and varied, and if he can teach someone with awful co-ordination and balance like me, then he can teach anyone)).

Just such an amazing place. I started to train after my daughter had been going for a year. It's a wonderful de-stressor and keeps me sane. Great for families.

I trained with the Stevie and Mike Krause long time ago I was an Ayrshire instructor they are very professional in what they teach and in their believes ���

I trained at Krauseworld from 10 - 17 years old. After a 7 year break I joined back up exactly 1 year ago today & it's been one of the best decisions i've made.



I train 3/4 nights a week & take private one to one sessions with Guro Mike. The tuition is fantastic & worth every penny.



Having trained both as a kid & adult i'd recommend this gym to anyone. Its confidence boosting, stress relieving & most importantly you're going to learn to defend yourself!



If anyone is feeling nervous about trying out a class - please don't! Glove up & you won't look back :)

Attended classes as a young guy, and more recently have done personal training sessions with Mike. He's a great, patient and creative teacher. He's also a stand-up, chatty, funny and interesting guy.



The atmosphere in this gym is great. Safe and supportive. The blend of martial arts it's so versatile that anyone can find something they like.
