Milagros – from the Spanish for ‘miracles’ or surprises' – are the small silver or gold-coloured offerings that Mexicans attach to the images of the Virgin Mary or saints as a request or thanks for help.
Milagros Mexican Shop Description
We import Mexican tiles, decorative hand made tiles, brick shaped hand made tiles, hand-blown recycled glassware, laundry baskets, wedding decorations- papel picardo and Mexican folk art. Milagros works with independent makers and small workshops in Mexico to create quality handmade products that combine traditional techniques with contemporary design. We have travelled extensively throughout Mexico and are constantly sourcing new objects that reflect the bold and exuberant colours of the country and its distinctive culture.

Our shop is found in London’s East End, next to Columbia Road’s famous flower market. We are open on Sundays from 9am to 3pm and Saturdays 12 to 5pm or by appointment during the week.

This shop is amazing.... I searched high n low, thats often the difficulty when you have a picture on your mind without much luck....until I came across Milagros. Wjat a brilliant website. Easy to use, very straight forward, exactly what I wanted at fab prices. Arrived quickly, v reasonably postage. Superbly packed. I loved them in the box. Imaginexwjen I got them on the wall. I m so pleased with them and the service recieved. Would def recommend. Thankyou Milagros.
