Wonderful French restaurant an absolute gem, great food with very attentive staff! Highly recommended!

What a great find. Not far from Covent Garden & is bigger than it looks from the outside. We had the lunch menu & at only £15.95 for 2 courses or £17.95 for 3, was excellent value for money. Service was good & we didn't feel they were trying to push you out of the door as soon as you had finished eating even though they were busy. Will go back there again.

Very good food service very good reasonable priced all in all got to give it a go if your in the 7 dial area

Very enjoyable lunch yesterday - delicious food, great service and comfortable surroundings. We will return.

The best French restaurant in London. The bar is from a brothel in Lyons, with a story that maybe Edith Piaf leaned against it singing back in the day. Food excellent. If you like cheese, you have to try their selection. Staff excellent: friendly, knowledgeable and appropriately attentive. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

My partner lived in France and loves French food, so we made our way here after the theatre for the first time. The staff were wonderful and the bistro ambience was quite delightful. The pre/post theatre menu is very good value for money, but I ordered from the a la carte menu which is also very reasonable. The presentation of food was good, but it tasted even better! The coq au vin and tarte tatin I would readily recommend! We shared a bottle of house red, which was fruity and full bodied. We will definitely be back!

Lovely setting for my fathers birthday , steeped in history , staff were attentive and friendly , couldn't do enough for us , highly recommend this restaurant , will be coming back

Lovely meal as always when we come to this restaurant look forward to when we are back there again.

I was invited to meet with a colleague from France, who suggested we should meet over lunch. Mon Plasir, as the title says, is a wonderful restaurant. The food, often simple is superbly cooked, the wine and dessert (especially the cheese) is wonderful.... My very favourite restaurant in London now....

I used to work here 20 years ago and the quality of the food and the service is still remarkable ;)

Hadn’t been here for years and it is every bit as great as I remembered- amazing escargots and beef bourgion- I won’t leave it so long again

Great restaurant...went for pre theatre dinner... food was amazing and the staff were wonderful very attentive ...so pleasant and conscious that we needed to be finished in time for the show. Nothing was too much trouble for them... I'd highly recommend Mon plaisir and go back again !!

Great French restaurant, much bigger than the frontage suggests. Early evening meal starting with the best steak tartare ever.

Great range of dishes and wines. Calves liver as main and had a bottle of Madiran from the Pyrenees, something you rarely see on a wine list. Cheese selection was amazing too.

Very pleasant atmosphere with helpful staff.

Fantastic authentic French food in the heart of Covent Garden. Offering an interesting wine list and a cheese board to die for!

You will never be disappointed by the quality of the food or the service. Warm welcome, great management with a smile.

Authentic French restaurant with a fantastic history. We were welcomed warmly and the service was great. We had an interesting conversation with the owner over an Armagnac! Excellent food. Well worth a visit!

A fabulous genuine French experience and meal. A delicious French onion soup and perfectly tender lamb. A great selection of French cheeses to finish off with. Atmosphere and service great.
