Decembers winter clubs catches
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year for 2019 to all our customers, motorhome and caravaners and supporters of Monarch Lakes and Monarch Lakeside Park from Gazza and Karen. We look forward to seeing you in the new year for another season which starts on 15th February for carp fishing and 1st March for The Lakeside Park. Have a great one everyone. ¤Ä䤟餏╗¤ŹĖ¤ŹŠ¤”ī¤”ī¤Äģ¤Å╗¤żČ ¤Å╗
Fish out for Dusty and myself on the winter club.
The sun going down on the Last weekend of this season. We close for the winter to day tickets this Friday. WeŌĆÖve met some amazing people in this season, our third year open, from all over Northampton/Rotherham/Nottingham/Essex and not forgetting our locals that fish with us. Also the Monarch Lakeside ParkŌĆÖs caravan and motorhome visitors. Next year the lakes will mature even more and the weight gains from our carp will be greater. Thank you all for your support and after Friday we leave the lakes to our winter club guys. We will start taking bookings for next year from mid February 2019.

Another new 20lb mirror for us and a PB for Ben whoŌĆÖs in our winter club. As itŌĆÖs a new 20lb fish to Glory Lake IŌĆÖve let him name it so heŌĆÖs called it ŌĆśColinŌĆÖ which is Personal to him so well done Bud ¤ÄŻ¤ÄŻ¤ÄŻ¤ÄŻ¤ÄŻ

Jumped on Hope lake again today 23lb 2oz another winter carp happy with that ¤ÄŻ¤ÄŻ¤ÄŻ
Jumped on for a few hours today managed to get this beaut out, not bad for this time of year. ItŌĆÖs always more rewarding a winter carp ¤ÄŻ¤ÄŻ¤śś¤śś

Our last night fish of the season and just a few out for Glory Lake, a 13lb to Mark, a 12lb 2oz mirror and a stunning 9lb mirror to Chris and a chub to Michael. Well done guys.

This morning over Glory Lake before the whole lake booking comes on for our last night fish of this season. Fingers crossed for the lads.
PB for Dave at 22lb 14oz, and Bob with a 22lb 8oz today, both out of Hope lake well done guys ¤ÄŻ¤ÄŻ¤ÄŻ¤ÄŻ
And yet another new 20lb mirror for Monarch lakes with this beaut to Sam on Glory Lake, last out at 19lb 12oz well done buddy Top Angling
This was a new 20lb mirror that Kim had last weekend for Hope lake. Their banging on the weight in that lake we are so looking forward to next season for Hope lake ¤ÄŻ¤ÄŻ¤ÄŻ
What can I say, I have been to Monarchs a couple of times now, What a clean and tidy set up, the swims are fantastic, The hospitality of Gary and Karen is second to none, The food delivered to swims is a fantastic touch the monster baps are Brilliant. Oh and the fishing is good too!! Not blanked yet.
What a venue, Gary, Karen and the team all gave me a very warm welcome. Helped me out with everything, even helped me set my bivvy up as it was so windy. They couldn't of been more helpful. Food is bought to your peg and the baps are amazing and so cheap. Lakes are so well looked after and look amazing, the fish (lucky I had a few) are in prestine condition which is quite hard to find in some lakes. Beat my P.B twice here. Bait etc all on site, couldn't ask for much more. This is definitely my favourite venue and I can see my self spending a lot of time on the bank, thanks to all the team for the weekend it really was an enjoyable experience. This is really fishing at its finest
This is a brilliant venue expertly run by Gary and Karen. The hospitality and facilities are second to none. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and the fishing lakes are fantastic. The fishing is unbelievable and with breakfast and evening meals delivered to your peg, what more can you want. A real gem of a place. Highly recommended. I will be back often!
Recently returned from here with my caravan, I had only intended staying 3 nights but the beast from the east winter storm extended my stay to a week, but hey I wasn't complaining, the location was perfect with views over the lake and Karen and Gary couldn't have been more helpful, kind and caring! The site is really well thought out with electric and water at each pitch. The ladies and gents were immaculate with the ladies having a real home from home feel with it's chic decor and with level flooring shower makes it wheelchair accessible. I can highly recommend this site I will certainly be returning in the warmer months.
Monarch lakes is a brilliant place...I fished from Saturday morning through to Sunday afternoon and had 3 fish up to 21lb..the owners are really friendly and welcoming! The food that they do is really good and nice that they bring it to your swim! Excellent place definitely can't wait to get back! Highly recommend to anyone!

Hope Lake has some quality fish with a good stock of 20+. Glory lake... if you want specimen fishing, this is the place to be. All fish upto & over 20+ complemented by a modest 30lb+ head of quality carp.
But the fishery would not be complete without the fantastic owner's. Garry & Karen Futter top the venue & are outgoing & friendly & have an infectious & warm nature to one & all. It's like a family as all fishermen like to get know each other & share a simular sense of humour. ŌśåŌśåŌśåŌśåŌśå+Ōśå
Just spent the last two night at Monarch lakes .Had an amazing time lake was fantastic Gary and Karen should be so proud of what they achieved.. Paul and Doug working on the lake we're fantastic company helping every step of the way with local knowledge always helpful must also say we had the food packaged food was so good we couldn't wait for the next meal absolutely a pleasure the whole weekend thank you so much to the Futter family we will be back soon.
Just returned from my first night at monarch....it won't be my last! Found Gary to be very friendly and helpful,walking round the lake there wasn't a spot of rubbish anywhere,very well maintained with large flat swims and clean toilets,very good food delivered direct to your swim if required and fish care is of paramount importance and it shows with the condition of the fish!
Just come back from 3 days on Glory Lake with my partner had a great time, the weather was very hot not good for fishing really but managed to winkle 2 out. The food was excellent with us having breakfast and evening meal each day. Hospitality from all the staff was first rate with a little help from Gary resulting in us catching a couple of fish. Once again many thanks we will be back for another go. Tony & Shirley.
Just been and had a look round the new fishing lakes, my friend and I was kindly shown around by the owners Gary and his wife Karen. They were very friendly and happy to answer any questions that we had. The lakes look like they are getting quite established and I am looking forward to getting my rods out and into the water to try and catch one of the various big Carps that are in there. In general the lakes are equipped to suit every anglers needs from the smallest of fish to the biggest. Looking forward to the opening in Spring.
Just back from Monarch Lakes, unbelievable facility, pristine condition, Gaz and Karen are great, make you feel so welcome, the food is iincredable and would highly recommend, the fish caught were in absolutley pristine condition, a credit to the facility, we will be returning without a doubt very soon, and would highly recommend to others, you will NOT be disappointed.
If Carlsberg had a fisherier it wouldnt be as good as this place.The site is fab gary and karen top people would recommend to any one to go and have a dabble.It is run perfectly and i take my hat off to your sir.
I've just got back from 24hrs on Glory lake, I was made very welcome on arrival by Gary the owner. It's a very well run fishery with five star facilities. Some stunning carp to go for and dinner brought to your bivvy! Thanks Gary for your hospitality and the stories about Ascension Island :-)
I've been coming to monarch for a few weeks now and was rewarded with a pb of 22lb the owners and fellow maggot drowners are amazing and were as pleased for me catching Chubs as I was

I fished Glory Lake Saturday night till Sunday afternoon and had a brilliant time. Caught 4 carp up to 25lb. The fish are brilliant examples and put up a good fight. I had my tea and breakfast delivered to my peg which was brilliant and the food was excellent as always. I'm always made to feel welcome when I'm there by the owners. Can't wait to get fishing there again. I'd recommend the lake to anyone who enjoys fishing.
Great run place. The owners are extremely friendly and always willing to help put you in the right spot to try ensure you get a fish or two.
Great place. Great people. Great facilities. Great food. Would fully recommend
Gary and the team have got it just right!! The lakes are well managed and maintained. The fish care ethos that Gary is promoting is 2nd to none. The banks are clean, the pegs are very nicely presented and the monster breakfast roll is spot on!!! Well done Gary and the team!!!!
Cracking little place. Had 4 great nights here and was so impressed we booked to come back for more short breaks this year. Once they become established with the caravan side of things i'm expecting this to be booked up solid. If you like your fishing and caravaning then this is a must visit place.
