Moor Park Golf Club Description
Set amidst 300 acres of mature woodland and finest Hertfordshire parkland, Moor Park features two championship golf courses, the High and the West.
Designed by Harry Colt in 1923 to blend into the grounds of the estate, the courses combine challenging golf holes – ideal for competition, practise or tuition.
The High Course plays host annually to the Hertfordshire Stag, as well as regularly welcoming such events as the County Championships, the English Seniors Open and the Carris Trophy. The English Boys' Strokeplay Championship known as the Carris Trophy, attracts Europe's best youngsters and is held at Moor Park every fourth year. Moor Park has also hosted the Bob Hope Classic, the Spalding Silver King, Uniroyal, The Four Stars Pro-Celebrity, Woolmark Ladies European Match Play Championship and the Ladies British Open.
The West course, although shorter in length than the High, demands a more exacting approach from the golfer to reach the tricky greens in regulation.
The 17th century mansion house of Moor Park, perhaps one of the most photographed clubhouses in golf, provides a spectacular setting to relax and enjoy a post round drink or two.
The combination of idyllic surroundings, together with our attention to detail and knowledge of the game of golf, guarantees a day that will be beyond expectations.
Moor Park is conveniently located near to London, and only five minutes from the M25 and Moor Park Underground Station (Metropolitan Line).

We had our wedding reception in Moor Park in May 2018 and could not fault the professionalism and attention to detail from all staff but in particular our wedding planner Nico. He not only advised us on practical issues but was attentive to our own ideas and nothing was too big or small for him to consider. He was in constant contact and discussed all issues that we had and really put our minds at ease. He is an absolute credit to the venue. The venue itself is amazing and guests are still complimenting our wedding on the stunning mansion and grounds that we had. The food was delicious and again guests were very complimentary about this - a hard crowd to impress! The whole day was perfect and I can’t thank Nico and his team enough for everything they did, thank you so much!

What a fabulous place, even if you don't play golf.
We were made to feel welcome the moment we walked through the door, highly recommended.
We held our wedding reception at Moor Park on the 29th July and it really was the most wonderful day. Everyone was blown away by the mansion, the food and the atmosphere. I cannot rate the service highly enough, from the planning through to the day itself. Nico and Dhiraj made sure everything was taken care of, the wedding breakfast was like a military operation, and they catered for our every whim. Thank you so much guys, from James and Melissa.
Visited Moor Park yesterday for Sunday lunch for our 1st Year Wedding Anniversary. Lovely to be back after our wedding there last year.
I had the oriental fish cakes, roast beef dinner and apple & raspberry crumble- beautiful food. Met the chef, that was actually the chef also on our wedding day and he remembered our menu for our wedding breakfast 1 year on! Also lovely to see our wedding planner Leigh again. �
Visited Moor Park Golf Club last Sunday and although there was a full car park the course was relatively empty by the time we tee'd off...certainly would recommend this to anyone who has never been and I will be back 🏌
Played at Moor Park yesterday and had a great time. We played 18 holes on the high course and 9 on the other one. All in all a great day of golf.
Our daughter had their wedding at Moor Park golf club 20th may 2017 ...it was truly the most wonderful experience my family had ever had. The venue the staff especially Lee the event manager was on hand to consult with my daughter and her husband every step of the way. He was there when we finished at the venue and back again in the morning on his day off when we returned for breakfast to finish off the weekend.
The food was amazing and even those with different tastes were all carter for. Nothing was a problem and the staff bent over backwards to reassure us in every way.
We the Elys and Dookies families cannot thank you enough.

Invited to play at Moor Park by a friend for the second time on the High Course recently. Moor Park Mansion looks so regal & stunning as you drive in the long driveway. The course was in excellent condition with the fairways, bunkers & greens all maintained immaculately. There were plenty of challenges with sloping fairways & greens that were difficult to read. The food & drink served in the members bar afterwards was excellent. Facilities available for changing etc. were also excellent. Overall a most enjoyable experience that I hope I can repeat again. 👍☘️⛳️🏌️
I can't fault the society day we just had here. From the reception we received up to our departure. The starter had great banter. the course was in great nick even in November. The food was superb and the staff were friendly and helpful. I hope to be back soon.
I attended my husbands Works Christmas doo last night. Everything was absolutely perfect. The venue is stunning. The food delicious & staff happy to help. We had a lovely evening. Thank you �
First time at Moor Park for Seniors Open. Marvellous hospitality from the team plus a real challenge on the golf course. The greens are very fast for this time of the year. Facilities are first rate and looking forward to my second visit very soon.

Amazing venue, friendly staff, fantastically directed by Dilraj, brilliant attention to detail and great organisation from Sweelan - and the most amazing photos in the Orangery 😀👍
Played the High course off Blue tees in Herts Stag earlier this month. Fantastic course but brutal when the greens are running fast & the wind blows.
Decent range, fantastic practice putting greens & a marvellous stately house to change your shoes in & have a fine lunch / dinner & drink whilst taking in the fine art, wonderful ceiling and walls and wonderful Parachute Regiment pictures & reports.
Looking forward to playing the course again, this time off the whites...
Parkland course with wide fairways and big slopey greens
Par 5s are all reachable in two off the white tees (475 yds) enjoyable course to play.
Good golf course but I wouldn't say it was championship quality.. very wet in parts. Greens where in good condition mostly but weren't running well and I found them slower that what I am used to. Glad to have played here but as I'm from Scotland unfortunately I wouldn't make the trip back to play. I would say to anyone give it a try though as you have different opinions

A lovely Not so well known Palladium grade 1 mansion to visit.Exceptionally beautiful classical wall and ceiling paintings that compare well with both Hampton Court Palace and the painted hall at Greenwich by the same artists.
