What an amazing morning we have had!
We have had a visit from some firefighters and their fire engine. We took turns sitting inside the fire engine and we even had a go at squirting the water from the hose! They also showed us their special uniform they wear when there is a fire.
... We then waved them off and they turned on the lights and sirens for us! 👨‍🚒🚒👩‍🚒

Today we all iced a poppy biscuit, we then spoke about Rememberance Day and why it is so important. We also all had a turn to have our fingerprints taken as part of our police topic. It was very interesting to look at how different everyone's fingerprints are!

Painting fun this morning , we are making a police car out of boxes!

This afternoon we made police ID badges and we used our phonics to sound out our names. We also spoke about how the police help us and what to do in an emergency 🚓👮‍♀️👮‍♂️

We've had a lovely morning walk to look at the changing seasons from Autumn to Winter, we stopped off at the park for a special snack and then went back to pre school for a nice warm cup of tea. The children were so well behaved whilst out we are very proud of them!

Today we made firework paintings using toilet rolls to create the special effects 🎆🎇

Today we created flag handprints - Poland, Germany and England.
This afternoon we had a lovely walk to the park and had lots of fun on the play equipment.
Yesterday we made German flags by cutting and then sticking the different colours on.

We are currently developing our garden area and want to make it an inviting and exciting place for the children to explore in, so if anyone could help us source the following items we would be very grateful -
*Old drain pipes, or any plastic pipes that could be used for water play
*Car tyres
... *Old pots and pans and kitchen utensils that could be used for a mud kitchen
*Any plastic garden toys, including play house, slide etc
*Any kind of ride ons, scooters, bikes, trikes, cars etc

Would like to say how pleased I am we made the decision to send our daughter here. She has spent time at both the preschool and the day nursery and I cannot fault a thing. Everyone is so lovely and dedicated. Karynna has come on leaps and bounds since starting with you and we will all miss you terribly. Thank you for getting her ready for big school and just being amazing every day!

The staff are brilliant and friendly. They keep you well up to date with the progress of your child. At the end of the day, they give you a letter telling you about their day and the snack they ate and how much. Can not recommend this preschool enough. My child has made some amazing friends, who will be following him up to reception. I'm a little sad to be leaving the More Grace team, but will be sure to visit with my boy as he wants to see his favourite teacher Leanne.

Such a lovely friendly pre school, feel confident leaving my 2 year old with them, and he loves it and every morning asks to go, and is disappointed when i say not today

My son loved going to more grace preschool, he always come home telling me about all the exciting stuff he had done. The teachers are very friendly and also keep you well informed.
