We had a laser blast party at Mote Park today and had a fantastic time. John our host, was brilliant throughout especially with the children. Nothing was too much trouble and he made a children’s party a very relaxed and enjoyable experience for us parents. Not an easy task. Great work John.

Great day kids loved it.. pool could have been a bit warmer for my 11week old baby, when we came out the baby change / disabled toilet was out of order and i was desperate for the loo, a lovely guy called Ashley took me to another disabled toilet but there was no baby change facility to strap baby in.. so he kindly held my little boy outside the toilet bless him! Thats good customer service

Only the main pool open AGAIN, went with 4 adults and 3 children ages 5,2 and 11months. 5 year old got told of for jumping of the big float into the water apparently it’s not allowed. Don’t see who she was hurting as 4 adults was around here if the life guards didn’t want to get wet.

Find it nice there in the week with my 2year old but again only the slide for him to play with as everything shut.

Think you need to visit the drawing board to vamp up your swimming area. We’ve started going to larkfield as they have more slides and the baby pool is nice and warm for the kids.

Love going swimming there. But hate when it's holidays and big pool is closed for 3 hours a day for aqua event. It makes the Lane swimming for the rest of the day busy and more crazy. Apparently can have 15 swimmers in one lane. Got told today if I don't like it not to come then. I already loose our lunch swim cause of the schedule holiday pool time closure of 12-3. Manager said can't cater for all needs, but without being moaned at by people it's hard when 95 percentage is catered for parents with children. Today I couldn't swim my normal speed as too many people. But they have lots of Pools and use the big lane pool for more leisure swimmers rather than give us a extra lane to take on extra people swimming in lanes. Also got told have to like time table when I sign to be a member.

There is a leisure pool another children's pool slides and diving pool. Would like more space for people doing their lane swim. I have heard from another swimmer they don't like it too

Hmmm well it was okay but not great. Not exactally clean, pool had loads of dirt etc floating around it. Floors, change rooms, tables in cafe, kids playzone all filthy. Cafe wanted to charge me £4.50 for a supermarket pre-packed ham sandwich. Staff all standing round talking to each other. Lifeguards rarely glancing at the pool. Disappointing as it cost us £23 for a family of 5.

Went with a group of family's. The water was salty and cold. Over capacity and still letting people in. We had to wait nearly 15 minute's pool side to get back in. Floats looked old and torn up in splash pool. Jacuzzi didnt work. This is the second time coming here, first time too much clorine in the air gave me a bad throat. Think I'll stick to Medway pools.

Very disappointed. I have booked more than one week ago a tour at 9.30 this morning. When I have called to communicate I was 5 minutes late because of the traffic due to the works in town I had to try three times before they answered the phone. When I arrived (likely I was five minutes late), I had to wait for one hour to be seen. When I have said " Do I need to wait for longer?" she replied quite crossed "I need to finish with them as they were booked before you!!" And of course, I replied "My appointment was 45 minutes ago!!" and after that, I had to wait for 15 minutes more. Very disappointed. I had to start my 7 days trial but I am not going!!

I visited with my two children and a group of friends during half term , our children really enjoyed aquachallenge, which they do quite frequently. Thankfully for us parents our children are now able to do this, and swim, without supervision. Sadly everything else is just badly managed. Not enough tables and chairs, only one cashier point at the café, the till broke there and at the bar. The slushy drinks are now at the bar so if you fancy a coffee and your child wants a slushy it's two queues which are pretty long and slow moving. Yesterday the slushy machine stopped working too!! I feel sorry for the staff who are generally trying their best but with no support, and no doubt take the brunt of complaints from angry customers. Management need to seriously up their game.

I used to love it here as a kid, if I wasn't doing some sporting activity, I was here swimming or going on the Ice Hills or Polar adventure, eating chips at the cafe, and chocolate from the vending machines...... But unfortunately these days it's not great, Im here nearly every week due to my sons sporting commitments. Yesterday I was there for 2.5 hrs, I used the car park, toilet, vending machines, cafe (eaten food which was actually alright), Ive sat on the cold floor of the balcony to view Rollerhockey, and various other things I've witnessed and could honestly complain about 20 different things from food out on the cafe side for purchasing not in any packaging and it's just sitting there probably has been all day, staff don't care too busy talking, the coffee machines are filty too, coffee cup shelves dusty, floors are dirty didn't see 1 cleaner in the 2.5 hours I was there either, my actual jacket potatoes was nice, toilets are dirty, vending machines moved to probably the worst and smallest access point for customers, not clean either put my hand in to get out my snickers bar and got a free handful of stale crisps sitting in the tray, having to sit on the cold balcony floor because the trampoline staff make it obvious we are in their way hatching our children (they start an hr later than we do I might add) to watch Josh play Rollerhockey with the curtain obstructing most of the view , half the lifeguards were not even looking at the pool or even the swimmers in it, I could carry on......I certainly would rush to tell everyone about my great time here speaking as a customer, spectator, and a mother.... where has it all gone wrong MLC????

I have full membership including classes and have decided to move to a private gym as the facilities there are clean and available when it's convenient. The female wet change is always roasting hot and smells of urine, it feels like we complain every time we go about the cleanliness of the wet change area but nothing gets done, we rarely see anyone checking the changing rooms and when they do they seem to slosh some water around and hope for the best. There is mould growing on the ceiling of the shower area and the toilets by the pool are disgusting. The classes I want to go to are always full weeks in advance so no chance to try something new even with names on a waiting list. For the price I was paying £35.95, I expected more.

I have a swimming membership and use the pool at weekends, why is the slow swimming lane the smallest lane even though its the busiest? I have people constantly crashing into me whilst I am swimming, the other huge problem which I think falls under Health &Safety, the single shower in the horrible ladies toilets is filthy, there is mould growing on the ceiling and walls , this shower is not being cleaned at all, also the power of the Shower non existent and you have to turn it on to scalding heat to even get a poor spray.

Pull your socks up Maidstone Leisure centre, this is basic hygene that is not being taken seriously, if nothing is done about the distugusting walls , Floor and Ceiling by the time I attend next weekend I will be taking this much further than the leisure centre management.

Great to see some fun pool bits for the kids haven't been since my boy was a baby n he's coming up to 5 now. Bit grubby, some reason expected it to be a bit more different, some lights weren't working in changing rooms, food is over priced. Small chips £1.95. A ring donut £1.50?? Really? Other than that was ok kids enjoyed themselves. Move ur photographer so that when leaving can be reminded they took pics. I would have loved some of kids but completely forgot and weren't really sure where he was based won't be able to see em now.

User

When we arrived it was busy which I can understand when it's hot. But staff was talking amongst themselves most of the time with both receptionist and to be quite frankly I thought there behaviour was quite shocking. Someone was complaining about the leisure center itself. When that person walked of the staff was makeing petty remarks and laughing. Eventually after waiting 15 mins to get. Changing and shower facilities was poor. You really need to improve the floors in the changing room. Its soo slippery and quite dangerous when you're walking around holding a baby. The floor round the pool side has more grip in the changes room. Kids are slipping on the surface. As for the cleanness of the whole area poor dusty and filth around. Cafe area bins overflowing and table was dirty. Certainly don't think I'll be coming back to moat Park for a while. I would rather travel to larkfield and use the leisure centre.

Went here today with my partner & his two young children. Everything was broken (then never told us this and still charged us all full price so when we got into the pool that's when we knew it was all broken) ! The water was so ridiculously cold that after half an hour of being in the pool my partners youngest little boy of 4 years old, his lips were blue and he was shivering so we got out and left because they couldn't enjoy it as were too cold!! Told life guards and they didn't seem to give a shit, spoke to other customers in the pool and they all said they had complained and asked what the temperature of the water was, a couple told us they came a few weeks ago and it was the same but they was coming back as they thought it was just that day but now realise it's an on going thing so they said they wouldn't be using again, there was also lots of little children with blue-ish lips and you could see parents getting the hump because of their shivering children and leaving!! Partner cut his hands on the tiles in the pool as they were so rough! Nothing around any of the pools to make it gripping/non slip was just tiles flooded by water so I'm surprised no one hurt themselves! Got to reception on our way out to make a complaint and a man was talking to one of the young lad lifeguards to tell him that they was only in the pool for 5 minutes as it was too cold they left and wanted a refund, to which the lifeguard had no customer service skills and basically challenged the customer by saying "well no other customers have complained so" (which is obviously a lie because it's all anyone was talking about in the pool ) but once I stepped in and said the man was right because that's the reason we was leaving so he reluctantly gave him a refund. Just thought the place was a load of shit and we won't be returning!!!!

Water was cold my children were freezing the waves weren't working and the juzzie in the pool area wasn't work either .food was bland my chicken burger was rock hard been cooked to long cost £35 to get only stayed 30mins my children had a better time on the swings in the park and that was free would not recommend the leisure centre next time I'm off to larkfield. Maybe you shouldn't charge full price when things aren't working!

User

Took my 7 year old to his Tuesday night swimming lesson . I can safely say we will be looking for lessons elsewhere. Cant fault the instructors they are fantastic!!! On the other hand the changing facilities were disgusting. The male changing rooms smelt of an 80 year olds pissy bed pan. The smell was that bad I was physically gagging whilst trying to get him changed. If a member of staff was present I would of complained in person. This is a regular occurrence now and surely must be a health hazard!! Shocking

User

I'm sharing this for my cousin who's little girl went here this morning hoping to swim you are breaking the law!

My 14 year old daughter Harriet was supposed to go swimming today at "Moat Park" in Maidstone she has had nothing else on her mind all week and to say she was "excited" would have been a massive understatement to say the least !! My wife took her there this morning only to find "sorry we have no disabled facility's anymore" try explaining that to a little disabled girl who loves swimming ? At this point in time to say I'm angry wouldn't come close

I have a 12 month membership which I started in August 2015 which I think I have used approx 10 times every time I go to use it the pool is either closed, empty or freezing cold I joined because I have a broken hip and thought this would be a good way to help me recover I visited again tonight to go in lagoon pool which states it is open from 7pm -8pm Tuesday's I entered the changing room got changed went to get in the pool to be told this pool isn't open tonight and no one knew why? Even the reception staff!!what's more the changing rooms are dirty and always smell of urine! All I want is to get out of my contract is that too much to ask? A disgusted customer!

User

I come here all the time and never had a problem but I came here today with my family and my 1 year old nephew , we was hoping for the wave machine and diving boards as we asked the lady she said it was broke and then we went to go on the diving board but they were closing ! We paid £6.65 each for 4 adults and £4.95 for a child and around £3 for my 1 year old nephew ? The pools were freezing cold were we was all shivering and the chlorine was so strong was hurting our eyes also We didn't get told that the wave machine was broken and the diving bored shut so early otherwise we wouldn't have paid to come here....and the hair dryers were all broken also my sister in law also had her toe cut in the pool whilst swimming !!! very disappointed
