Needed a strap replaced on our journey travel system. They replaced it there and then. I was very happy

I visited mothercare last week and met a lovely member of staff named Susan.

I was having a tough time and went in to ask advice on my 11 week olds car seat and how he cried every time I put him in it. He was never happy in it.

Susan changed the insert, made him all comfortable and then went the extra mile...

Mothercare let me have brand new head support and back support for free. Granted by Dan the manager.

We went from having a bad today to an amazing one thanks to them. If I could post a photo here I would to show you the huge smiles I had from Harry as we left the shop

Thank you!!!!!

Had my stroller for 6 months but only took it out of the box 2 weeks ago and realised it was faulty. Explained we were going on holiday in 1 week and if I took a loan buggy it could get damaged at airport.

They happily exchanged it for me even though I was outside of the 30 days. Helpful staff thank you

Had an extremely helpful member of staff help out with what needed and even found a voucher in magazine by till I could use then n there.. Got everything I needed

Best store manager in the whole of mothercare always welcoming and helpful wouldn't go any where else

The store itself is fine except I've had an awful experience with pixifoto in the store today which I feel brings the shops credibility and reputation down by miles. I've never been treated so badly in my life and it has dampened my views on mothercares standards.

I recently went in store and met by a sales assistant who asked if I knew what pram I wanted, I said yes the orb she told me it was on offer that day and so was the car seats, I told her I wanted the Pebble and she assured me that was 100pound down from 150 pound, so took up the offer, I picked up my goods today and was given a cabriofix, this is not the seat I wanted, I specifically told her I wanted the Pebble, the cabriofix is always 100 pound so not on offer at all, she was prepared to do anything to make her sales including deceiving customers, I have contacted customer care to get the issue sorted but heard nothing yet. Selling something under false pretences is just disgusting customer service and expect compensation this, I'm seven months pregnant and carrying boxes of car seats around is not on my to do list right now not should it be. Shame on Mothercare

Wrong business to be in if breastfeeding is deemed unacceptable!!

User

This store needs to take responsibility for its treatment and discrimination towards a breastfeeding mum and baby. Not only was the treatment illegal, it was rude, aggressive and unprofessional. The further disregard and ignoring of the complaint by the mother, makes the Mothercare group even more responsible for this appalling treatment. Take this complaint seriously. #niceonesusan #normalisebreastfeeding #mothercare

Telling a breastfeeding mum she can't feed her baby in store, disgusting behaviour and ILLEGAL #niceonesusan

User

Telling a breastfeeding mother to move is illegal as well as nasty. Would think an employee who works at a parent and baby store would have some sense.

User

Telling a bf mother she cant breastfeed her child in the store is disgusting seeing as your such a well known company that sell baby items. Glad i dont live near! #niceonesusan

User

Oh dear Mothercare. Not very caring, & apparently not legal. Mother's and their bairns are your bread and butter. Can you really afford all this bad publicity?

User

Not surprised most of the reviews are 1 star!! Incompetent staff members who are unable to find their own products on their own website!! Customer care not much better as they was unable to process my order due to high call volumes (probably complaints) so now I've got to drag my 16 month old son back up to the store to collect my items that I found online myself!!

User

Mothercare Bluewater telling a breastfeeding mum that she can not breast feed in your store you sell breastfeeding items in your store but you can not breast feed there you are supposed to be a mother and baby friendly store and the staff in question she needs to be educated #niceonesusan

I went into Bluewater yesterday to collect my rose that I had paid for and was due to be ready on Tuesday. Went to the till they had no record of my order, they finally found it and then turned round and said oh there was items missing on our delivery on Tuesday and yours was one of them. After standing waiting for 25 minutes the staff member comes back and says she will phone head office. After another 10 minutes waiting she comes back and says we will get it delivered to store tomorrow, I said that's not good enough I want it delivered to my address. They agreed on this and I gave them my address and number and they said they would keep me informed. So I am waiting in today for my order hopefully but no call from the Bluewater branch! This is appalling service, no apology at all!

I took my orb back to have the brakes checked and wheels changed, as pram run away from us with our son in it, got given a not so great loan pram, 2 weeks later picked up pram and the brakes haven't been fixed, my partner being frustrated having dragged to children there by bus took pram as they wanted to send it way again, I've contacted contact centre and store no real explanation offered nor compensation, just a £300 pram which my partner won't use as she don't trust it, just told to take it back to store to be sent away again, words can't not express how upset I am with mothercare I actually feel they don't care sham on you

User

I can't believe a shop, whose prime market is newborns' parents, has not educated their staff on the laws regarding breastfeeding. I'm guessing Susan was just doing what she thought was right (and I'm also guessing she has no children as a mother would never treat another in that way) and so am putting her arrogance down to ignorance. I would like to know what your induction procedure is for staff and where your breastfeeding policy comes in to it.

User

I AM DISGUSTED at how a breastfeeding mother was treated at your store. See you Mothercare Bluewater, I won't be shopping with you again!
