What a fantastic afternoon we had at the Royal Wedding afternoon tea. Food was delicious and so much of it, the singer was good and staff were great, as usual. Can't wait for next Friday for Bistro evening!

User

We visit in The week, & althou busy in the Summer Months, hence have to wait, or they forget what you asked for? Always a pleasurable place, clean, & more table's outside now to seat more public. And a lovely charming sidepath, off the high street. Great food

We visit here most Wednesday afternoon’s and it is always fantastic, from the food to the service. The Afternoon Tea’s are also amazing and so filling, I would highly recommend them! I think my mum is going to be known as the ‘lovely lady’ after our last visit. The best thing about it is they welcome you like friends and recognise you from your previous visit. See you again soon!

We have just been to Mrs Salisbury’s Famous Tea Rooms for a Summer Sizzler event. Wow! What a fabulous evening. The staff, as always, are super friendly, nothing is ever too much trouble , they always make you feel welcome and you are always made to feel special. The food was amazing and there was so much of it , all of it was delicious. The entertainment was provided by Dave Gellett, a superb singer and acoustic guitar player. He gladly did requests and thoroughly entertained us. Mrs Salisbury’s is a gem of a place and we always leave delighted with our experience and plan for when we can visit again.

User

Mother’s Day afternoon tea at Mrs Salisbury’s with my husband and two of my best friends. It was soooo good I even forgot to take a picture. Wonderful service and excellent value for money. I always wanted to try afternoon tea at The Ritz but who needs to travel to London when there is such a delightful tearoom just on our doorstep Thank you for making my Mother’s Day special.

Loved our visit to Mrs Salisbury’s famous tea rooms last week.

I took my Mum & 3 year old Daughter out for lunch as a treat for my Mums birthday.

The menu has a good selection of sandwiches, salads, jacket potatoes, ploughman’s etc....

We ordered the Cheese ploughman’s, was absolutely lovely.

The kids menu is good too & really reasonable.

I just wish we had room for the cake. Which they all looked amazing in the cake shop across the road.

User

If it were possible to give 10 stars, I would! Wonderfully warm welcome and amazing treats in the afternoon tea option. Too much to manage in one go, so we're given a lovely box to take our leftovers home. I can't wait to return!

User

Fabulous atmosphere, the tables looked great and the food came out on the tiered stands made up in the number for each group. Everything was fresh, very tasty and looked so yummy!

Our thanks to all of the staff working at the Mrs Salisbury’s Royal wedding Streetparty. They worked tirelessly, always on hand to get whatever was needed be it pots of tea, jugs of lemonade or something from the bar. Excellent event thoroughly enjoyed. Well done everyone. 😀

User

Delicious food good service in very quaint surroundings. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

User

Always served with a smile and the staff are always friendly, helpful and remember you if you eaten there before. lovely menu.A favourite in Maldon for my friend and I .

User

A group of us enjoyed afternoon tea and prosecco on a beautiful summers day. Atmosphere, service and food was superb! Had a wonderful time! Already planning our next visit!

User

Took my daughter here today for Afternoon tea for her 30th birthday treat. A lovely old, quaint building inside Brights Path, which is like a step back in time, I loved it, just wished it was bigger lol. The tea room was a lot smaller than I thought it would be, but has a good atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the Afternoon tea was yummy. I personally would have liked a bit more savoury and a little less sweet treats as I'm not a lover of butter cream, but it was all beautifully presented. I did order a downstairs table, but when we got there our table was upstairs, when I said about it they did offer for us to sit downstairs table, but I didn't like to make a big fuss, so climbed the stairs. My daughter loved her treat, so if she is happy, then I'm happy. I highly recommend this lovely little tea room. I only deducted one star because I ordered a downstairs table and that hadn't been noted and the waiter didn't offer us a menu to show what teas were available, so we were just given English breakfast tea.
