We, being my husband our three adult girls and our granddaughter aged two had a brilliant afternoon here. Lots of facilities for hand washing, eating food, at the cafe or you own and all for the cost of a donation. Wonderful.

User

We really enjoyed a day out at this farm.

Staff are very friendly cafe is good, my kids went on a donkey ride which was £2 a really good price when you have more than one child. Will be going there again. Also you can buy food for the animals £1 a bag which the kids love doing. Great fun.

User

We love the farm! We come for breakfast very often, I'd say every other weekend. The lovely cafe uses the bio eggs from the farm there and in general the kitchen is beautiful and always delivers great food. We also enjoy a walk around the farm every now and then, it is truly a best place where to escape city madness - not even leaving the city. Keep up the good work 👍🏻

User

We had a wonderful time there. The kids enjoy every minute of the day.

User

Took my little girl to see mudchute farm to celebrate her first birthday. She loved it, and it was perfection seeing her face when she was there. The funniest thing was we saw a pig go in his little house and close the door behind him, not going to lie this gave me more of a chuckle then little one, it is brilliant that we can hop on a train to this wonderful city farm, and have a nice day out. Will be going again, probably in summer when it's less chilly and we can have a picnic.

User

Took my kids for the first time yesterday, I never even new it was here, we loved the experience as a whole family, kids enjoyed the pony rides and they especially loved feeding the animals, a fun few hours for the price (free) will definitely be back again

User

Took my daughters to meet and walk with the llamas.. They had a lovely time.. Staff was very friendly especially Tom.. i recommend this farm to anyone with kids.

User

Took my children here today and they loved it. The farm is like an amazing little patch of countryside right in the middle of the city. Plenty of animals for children to enjoy, free entry and food is only £1 a bag. A fantastic project, well worth visiting.

User

This farm is awesome. I've only just started to work as a volunteer there and i love it and staff are great to work with.still a lot to learn but it will never end which is great for me

User

The best farm ever everything was in perfect condition loved my time as a volunteer and would recommend it to all you'll always have people that think they know better about a government funded farm who have a workforce that work for free can take their time elsewhere but I can clearly say if you want to know how good this farm is all you need to do is go there and see for yourself 10/10 been in anmailcare care for 13 years worked at 3 local city farms been a dog groomer for 3 years and worked in 2 petshops but hay what do I know

User

Lovely well looked after farm in the city.. great place to escape with the buggy and enjoy the sunshine.

User

I absolutely love the farm! Very good idea with selling bags of food for animals. Donkeys are definitely my favourite ones. Lots of space to walk around, I find it very peaceful and quiet. I will definitely come back soon!

User

Grew up very close to this farm and brought our children for a visit, so lovely to see that it is still thriving! a little bit of countryside in the heart of London <3 and amazing that it's still free! Loved the cafe aswell, a lovely relaxing day out x

User

Excellent City farm.Animals look well cared for and they have lovely paddocks to graze in.It's like being in the country although in the distance you can see CanaryWharf. This place was recommended to me by a lady on a train last Summer and this was my fourth visit. The best Station for access is Island Gardens I would say rather than Mudchute. They have good toilet and hand washing facilities and a good Cafeteria.

User

Beautiful farm and so big. All the animals are really well looked after, one of the best farms I have visited. My children loved it

User

Love the farm, but what annoys me is that there are always idiots feeding carrots and stuff they bought in shops. It's clearly written that it is not allowed, as they are on a strict diet and the farm sells their own animal food there.

User

Took our grandson he enjoyed the pigs, goats and lamas. He liked the fact that he could run around. We noticed that in other reviews that there was donkey rides but there was nothing on our visit. It would be nice to have more signposts to tell you where the animals are. Although the sign said children could touch the animals it was only the donkeys and goats. Would be nice to have rabbits and chicks maybe with more staff on hand. We eat in the cafe. Lunch was far too much for a child's portion. Food was ok. Couldn't find the shop. No signs to say where it was. Would have disappointed if we had to pay but would have liked to have made a donation but again didn't know where.

User

I love this farm and have grown up being taken to it as a child well as now taking my children there , however on this last visit I was a little disappointed with the state of the toilets, dirty and no loo roll not to mention a few cages could do with a sort out there was a beautiful almost new rabbit hutch at the side of a rabbit house that was housing two rabbits in a cage that had seen better days wondering why they'd not been up graded to the newer home

User

Staff drinking alcohol and constantly on phone near the rides and sweet stool. Alcohol and cigarettes were left on the sweet table on show and in reach of children and the woman operating children's ride was playing little attention while ride was in operation. Staff wasnt leading animals correctly which could have resulted in a few accidents which could have been quite severe. Also hit goose with force to move it. We didnt agree with the way the animals were treated overall. We also spoke to a volunteer who was very rude! In the stables itself there was very drunk people and the farm was selling alcohol. Very inappropriate for a family friendly and animal friendly area!

Apart from that, the animals are lovely and gentle.
