420 young performers from 18 musical theatre groups from across the UK and Ireland gathered to take part in the second Junior Theatre Celebration which took place at Curve in Leicester on Sunday 3rd June 2018. Groups performed 10 minutes of a Broadway Junior show for adjudication, took part in workshops delivered by Disney's Aladdin, Mamma Mia!, Shrek the Musical and the New York based iTheatrics as well as attending an Awards Ceremony featuring an exclusive Q&A with George Stiles and Anthony Drewe as well as a concert by West End performers Rachael Wooding and Mark Dugdale. No, it’s not Prince Charles’ visit to the area, but the AIMS Awards Weekend which sees over 1000 representatives from groups across Ireland coming together to celebrate musical theatre. Performances must take place between 1st January and 30th November 2019.

The 2018 Junior Theatre Celebration concluded last night at Curve in Leicester with the AllStars performing on the main stage. A HUGE thank you to everyone that helped run the event - we couldn't have done it without you! 420 young people from 18 groups took part. Last night we were in Cardiff for Orbit Theatre Company’s for Orbit production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the New Theatre. They say of this show that the car’s the star but we also enjoyed outstanding performances from a strong and confident cast. An appreciative audience rewarded a great production. Bravo all!

Ryan and the team are excellent when it comes to dealing with people like me. I have millions of questions about putting on amatuer performances, and never once do they get frustrated or fed up dealing with me - always very happy to help, with a patient and friendly manner. It means we're always very happy to go back to and give JW more custom. It also helps that JW's catalogue is impressive and wide-ranging, so it gives us lots of food for thought about picking a shortlist of potential productions.

Produced several titles from Josef Weinberger's brilliant catalogue ! Rehearsal material is always fantastic and on time (sometimes early!!) the licensing team are always super helpful and there's so much choice on the catalogue that your almost spoilt with what to pick!! Can't wait to be applying for more rights soon!

Having produced numerous MTI titles in the last fifteen years both professionally and for the amateur market, I can say that Bert, Sean, Sally and their team are excellent at what they do. Always very communicative, fair and helpful. An impressive catalogue and a great understanding of the uniqueness of some productions helps the process no end.

Cannot beat the customer service that Ryan and Rupert provide. These guys are fab!
