My Own Cake is the brain child of Karen Burton a professional cake decorator with over 35 years experience within the baking and cake decorating industry. Karen founded her high street business, Karen’s Cakes in 1987 and in that time has baked and decorated thousands of wedding and celebration cakes as well as supplying cake decorations and equipment to home decorators. “My business, has always sort to support and encourage home cake decorating, using my experience to guide customers through their purchases, enabling them to produce a decorated cake at home that they can be proud of. My Own Cake has been developed with this ethos in mind, even the most novice of cake decorator can feel confident that they will to be guided through the process of baking and decorating a cake at home at every stage when using a My Own Cake product”.
