June is diabetes awareness month. Good eating habits can really protect you. Start young and they'll have a good habit for life.

January is alcohol awareness month. The government recommended guidelines are no more than 14 units a week for both men and women. So be aware of what constitutes a unit. drinkaware.co.uk have a number of resourses including measure cups and phone apps to monitor your usage.

December is Mental Health Awareness month. Many we know may be suffering in silence. Possibly even you. It may be because of how you will be viewed or due to fear of being " hooked on drugs ". Mental illness is a physical disease and can be controlled in various way. No one would say to a diabetic that they are " hooked on insulin ". They need it to have a normal life. Those with mental illness also need help. Please watch these little videos to see how the smallest act of kindness can help.
