For this Persian royalty themed bat mitzvah party, which was celebrated on Purim, we were privileged to do hair and make up for the birthday girl. Being only twelve years old, we kept the makeup natural and soft and braided her hair to incorporate the head dress. For this bridal party we actually got on a plane to Glasgow. It was an incredible privilege to be part of this family Simcha yet again! With so many beautiful women, including the bride, we wanted to make sure they each stood out in their own glamorous way. Their hair and make-up was styled to complement their gowns, characters and styles – no easy feat! Each person’s natural skin tone, plus their choice of colour gown were taken into account to choose the perfect colour palette. The key to any make over and hair style for a wedding is that it should LAST! Hugs, kisses, tears and sweat are all part of it and our long lasting products and techniques ensure it all stays put until the last dance.

Getting married in ancient city of Tsfat is the perfect romantic setting. And beautiful Johanna trusted us with her hair and makeup. Going with a vintage dress and striking headpiece, Johanna wanted a natural and dreamy look. We kept the hair simple in soft waves and other than a splash of colour for the lips, the makeup was just a glowing bridal finish. It was a hot summer’s day and we are glad to report that Johanna looked just as ravishing at the end of the night.
...What a magical and spiritual wedding of a special couple and we were so glad to be part of it. Mazal tov on your 2 year anniversary Johanna!

We loved working with this vivacious mother of the bar mitzvah boy. Doing both hair and make-up, we were able to create the dream look. Complementing her natural beauty, as well as carefully working out the colour palette to tie in with the gown. Our brief was ‘glitz & glam’ to last the night. Gold sparkles and gems. Cascading curls. Stunning gown and a gorgeous smile to finish off the look. Boy do we think she rocked the look. And despite lots of dancing and bright lights, the make-up stayed perfectly put. Once upon a time, this young lady was a sparkly and beautiful bridesmaid at a fairy-tale wedding. Years later, I was thrilled to do her hair and makeup for her Bat Mitzvah weekend.
Doing hair and makeup for a 12 year old is a speciality. We don’t want them looking made up, we just want them looking their best and keep the young and fresh faced feel. Our challenge here was the hair had to stay in place from Friday to Sunday! We are happy to report the trendy braids and curl...s all stayed in perfectly over the weekend. Just look at that smile – such happiness! Mazal tov, we loved being part of your magical day!

Mazal tov to this glam Bar Mitzvah mum (dad you don’t look half bad ;-) ) For the party we went with glitz and glam. Hints of shimmer and glitter, using a colour palate to compliment the colours of her dress. Obviously the most important part for Shabbat make up is for it to last for 24 hours. We used long lasting makeup, contouring the face to define cheekbones and create a flawless and smart look for synagogue services and celebrations over Shabbat. Our aim is to highlight the natural beauty of each woman. We therefore spend time assessing skin tone and features, before a makeover.
