Was in the day unit for a procedure. Couldn't do enough for me. From arrival to coming out slightly jaded due to the drugs given to me. Knowing I hadn't eaten for over 15 hours as I had to fast, they handed me a post-op menu on arrival to pick my choice prior to going into theatre. The consultant came to talk me through the procedure prior too, which was very reassuring. They were interested in me as a person i.e. asking about how my Christmas was, how old my son was etc - just really personable. The afternoon tea style tray that I received after my procedure was brilliant. For a person who hates hospitals & everything about them, it really did make for a pleasant experience.

Took my 16 year old in for an op on his chest. Every member of staff from reception to nurse to porters to canteen staff to surgeon were all so friendly and helpful - nothing was to much trouble - this is how health care should be. Well done and thank you New Victoria Hospital!

This is a first class facility where it is obvious everyone who works there loves their job. I was treated so well and given such care. Despite feeling quite poorly after a general the nurses did all they could to make me comfortable and to ensure everything was all right. Highly recommended.

The front line staff are very professional as was the consultant i saw. He took his time with me and sent me for some xrays. The xray wait was less than 10mins and when i returned to outpatients i had a 5 min wait b4 the consultant was free again

Thank you to the consultants and staff, especially Laura, Helen, Bridget and Nelson, at the New Victoria who took such great care of mum, Dora, following her operation earlier this week, to say she had the 'best of care' is an understatement, you're angels all of you.

Superb treatment last Thursday into Friday for a little operation by Mr Ian Bloom. What can I say ? My first stay in the NVH and I was totally blown away by the service from everyone, the friendly manner and care shown. Even when I had to have my blood pressure checked at 3am following the operation the night duty nurse offered me a pot of tea as I was so awake ! Nothing was too much trouble for anyone and nothing could really have been done better by any of the staff or for that matter Mr Bloom. I will definitely recommend you to friends and colleagues.

Outstanding care highly recommend. Despite being an NHS patient referred for a cancellation I was treated in exactly the same way as a private patient. I was treated on the day ward and have a phobia of hospitals and needles, the staff provided me with reassurance and comfort to make me feel as welcome and comfortable as possible. The cleanliness and hygiene was impeccable and every single member of staff hugely friendly and helpful. The facilities are very modern. I would not hesitate to return as a private patient and am very grateful for the high level of service received.

I would just like to Thank all the staff here for making me feel at ease, I was extremely nervous. The receptionist is lovely and all the nurses couldn't do enough for me. I Really have felt very cared for. My room is lovely with a view of a golf course, a comfortable bed and lovely food not that I could manage much but really wanted to. Thank you all what a great team you all are. X

I was realy nervous about my operation. I have had problems with anasthetic in the past so was a bit jittery. From the time i arrived until leaving the following afternoon, everything was perfect. Everyone from the nurses to the consultant explained everything to me. They were all so kind and careing. The room i was in was spotless and so comfortable. The food i was served was all fantastic. I honestly cant reccomend the hospital and its staff, highly enough.

I have had the pleasure of using this hospital many times, both as an in and out patient. On all occasions I have been treated with such kindness, care and professionalism that I have recommended the hospital several times over. Now that I live out of the area I still wouldn't entrust my care to another hospital.

I had surgery for the first time at New Victoria Hospital two weeks ago. From entering the building at 0645 on the Wednesday and leaving on the Thursday at 11am the staff and in particular the two nurses who looked after me were outstanding nothing was too much trouble. I was petrified of having surgery but everything went so well. Thank you very much for all your help and support it has been outstanding.

I had my operation at new Victoria , to be honest the best hospitality I ever had, nurses are amazing , food fantastic, doctor really special . I definitely recommend more than 5 ⭐️

I had an epidural and facet joint injections today as a day patient with Dr Gandimhani, a brilliant pain specialist .The hospital looks lovely mid refurb, and as always everyone I met or who looked after me did so kindly, gently and professionally. Clare Farthing my nurse was lovely and very sweet and listened to me wittier on, and the theatre staff were very kind too. If you have to go to hospital you'd have a job finding a better one.

I am very lucky to be part of this great organisation, Excellent team to work with , Love you all ❤️

Having just spent the night as an inpatient I felt compelled to compliment the excellent level of professional nursing care and facilities I experienced at the New Vic. I have enjoyed the services as an outpatient before, but yesterday was the first time as an inpatient, overnight. Thank you to all those who appear genuinely caring and positive when dealing with patients. It does not go unnoticed or unappreciated.
