Whilst visiting the UK for one month i was looking for somewhere to train and my friend recommended NWA to me. The Management looked after me, the coaches were professional and engaging and the classmates were friendly and helpful. NWA made me feel apart of their family and I would definitely look to go back whenever I'm in town!

Went by for their open mat this past weekend. I can honestly say that I have never been made feel more welcome at someone else's academy. The guys were more than happy to help me with my prep for the English open and even went easy on me so that I didn't get smashed TOO badly. Thanks a lot and I will definitely be seeing you all again!

This is by far the best MMA/BJJ gym around, the kids program is second to none, the atmosphere is very relaxed and the coaching is awesome. If u are local check it out you wont regret it!

The best mma gym in south London period, friendly environment, knowledgeable and dedicated trainers, wthis is the place to be

New wave academy is one of the best training facilities around for mixed martial arts from youngsters to adults. I have been to many training centres and must say that the coaches are of a exceptional high standard. I Just had my 5 years old compete in his first BJJ competition, and must say with his coaches and the time they put into there students allowed my child to get his first gold medal in his first competition, amazing. Many thanks to all the coaches at new wave academy for there amazing work and dedication.

Iv been training at this gym since young and now its become my second home, amazing coaches and also such a friendly and welcoming feeling from your first day training | No complaints at all

In my opinion, this Academy has the most competent, dedicated coaches, and produces great competitors with fantastic results.

If you want to train as a fighter or just to keep fit New wave Academy is the place to be.

I have been training there for almost eight weeks taking part in an mma charity match to raise money for cancer research UK.

The coaches and trainer's are fantastic they really look after you and they put all there time and effort in and also they really work hard to make sure your doing your best and they push you to succeed.

I can't thank them enough for what they have done for us all, you all become great friends well more like a family to be honest you all encourage and help each other out no one is alone you all stick together as one.

So New wave Academy is the place to be like I said you will not be disappointed trust me.

I was there only once, before the London Open :)

Great team, friendly people, extremely high level of BJJ, I went home and was exhausted and very happy :D

I cant rate this place highly enough. The coaches are great, as are the facilities. There are no ego's here at New-Wave, just a friendly environment that is excellent for beginners willing to learn as well as nurturing pro's that are top of their game.

Having worked at the UFC for 4 yrs I was desperate to find a gym for my 2 boys (ages 5 & 7) to learn BJJ. NWA has delivered on every level. Talented coaches, very welcoming to newcomers & a positive vibe all round. I'd recommend it for kids & adults alike.

Had my first MMA class today and it was great. Everyone was very friendly, supportive and there to help with anything needed.

Would defiantly recommend

Great place for my kids - fantastic atmosphere and close to home

Great group of hard working fighters , athletes and competitors , check it out!! You won't regret it��
