Nicoleshomefromhome is literally what it says!

I wanted to create a home from home feeling for children to feel relaxed, safe and be able to be creative have fun and importantly be happy.

I love watching children spending their time learning while having fun, I believe it is so important for children to feel secure and loved in order to grow in their confidence, self-esteem and thrive.

I am Ofsted registered with childcare qualifications, I have a family car, full driving licence, fully insured for childminding and am able to do school pick ups.
Every day I take my own son (2yrs old) and children in my care to various classes and activities including the local parks within walking distance. Also I always have a diverse selection of activities at home for example, baking, playdoh, painting, reading /book corner, puzzles, dress up and den building which enable children to develop under the EYFS framework. I can provide updates throughout the day online which parents can log into or happy to provide a diary book to share with parents. I am also a member of PACEY ( professional association for childcare and early years ).

I work from the ground floor of my home, I have a large open planned kitchen /diner with bi fold doors leading onto a 80ft garden with plenty of outdoor toys, toilet /cloakroom and separate living room.

I have been married for 5 years and have 3 step children who spend a lot of time at our home. My previous background was in sales management in Fashion but once I had my son and after years of looking after and babysitting for friends and family I realised a career change was necessary, caring for children is far more rewarding than reaching astronomical budgets! ! ! I have lots of energy, kindness, patience and bundles of fun to give to the children in my care, they all naturally become an extension of my own family.
