Nidd Valley Gardens was founded in 2007. Based in the hamlet of Wath, near Pateley Bridge, N. Yorks.
Dave has been successfully designing, coordinating and building garden construction projects both large & small, traditional and contemporary since 2001.

Clearance of mature shrubs, followed by the removal of a raised concrete patio. We then replaced the patio with york stone and re laid it flush with existing york stone paving. Galvanised steel was used to create curved edging for a gravel path to access the new herb garden.
We completed this patio and steps rebuild for Nidderdale Hall in Pateley Bridge 2 weeks ago. York stone was supplied by us to replace the original frost damaged patio, we also supplied some nice York stone to replace the unsightly concrete steps. The paving and steps are now safe, and more in keeping with the property.
Now available, Greenmech CS100 20hp chipper and tracked dumper unit. This narrow access equipment can be driven through any standard door and will tackle steep slopes and rough terrain with ease! Ideal for clearances in hard to reach areas which standard size chippers would not reach.

We've had a busy month since my last post. Here we have a before, during and after completed last week. Mature shrubs and a large conifer were removed, stump ground out and existing York stone patio extended. This has resulted in much more space and light at the front of the property. A challenging paving job as the new paving had to tie in with the varying fall of the existing paving! In the near future we will be returning to repoint the original paving.
Constructive start to a 4 week project in Glasshouses today...
York stone driveway extension, tree dismantle, stump grinding and removal of mature shrubs.
Extending lawn by 120 square metres by removing mature shrubs, prepping levels and turfing.
... Building a system of green oak sleeper, raised veg areas designed by ourselves.

Site clearance, involved winching leaning conifers with our 2 ton tirfor winch..
One of our jobs this week was to move some existing decking from one corner of a clients garden to another. I added steps to one side and pressure washed the original decking.
During and after.. Designed by Anna Guggen, paving, oak beds and hardwood fencing constructed by myself in 2007.
