This is our son-in-law eggs which are deep fried boiled eggs in a sweet and sour tamarind sauce with crispy shallots, garlic and coriander. Now, before you get all judgy about us deep frying an egg, consider the crispy, ruffley edges of a fried egg done right, and the fudgy yolk of a perfectly cooked boiled egg... a deep fried egg is the best of both worlds. Top that with an addictively sweet and tart sauce and some crispy aromatics and the job's a good un. And how did this delicious confection get its name I hear you cry, we'll, you'll have to come in and ask us to find out.

Do you love fried chicken? We love fried chicken! Ours has a super crunchy rice flour coating and is fragrant from a spell in a coriander, garlic and white pepper marinade. We make our own chilli sauce so it is a million miles away from the overly sweet, gloopy factory made stuff. We're toying with the idea of putting a side of fish sauce 'slaw with it, let us know what you think below.

We love chickpea tofu! The flavour is nutty and smooth, crispy on the outside and soft and creamy within. The perfect partner for the curry sauce that we make with red curry paste, tomatoes and coconut.

What a place. Came in with my wife for dinner and it is one of the best and most exciting places I have eaten in some time. The flavours are out of this world. Hats off to everyone. Excellent service as well. Cannot recommend enough.

Proper, authentic South East Asian flavours and so many banging dishes to choose from. Cocktails and wine were also amazing and totally complimented the food. The service was excellent, really attentive and friendly. Can’t wait to go back!

Omg the food here has just blown my mind. Planning my next trip with my husband as we speak to try some more of the menu. My favourite dishes tonight were the mango salad and the trout laab. They seemed to go really nicely together also. Delish

Lovely food, lovely people. I had the chicken curry and chicken satay. I'm a very fussy eater but both dishes were exceptional. There was absolutely nothing graceful about how I tried to soak up every last bit of the satay sauce. � Loved it! �

Loved our meal at Nonya. It was one of those truly exciting meals that you think and talk about for ages after. The menu was a great mix of familiar (chicken wings, the best we've ever had) to ingredients and flavours that were entirely new to us, all explained carefully by the lovely staff. Even my 10 year old niece, who is notoriously fussy, found things she really liked. Not everything on the menu is super spicy - I adore spicy food, but it's nice to have options that won't exclude people who don't. Outstanding cocktails, beautiful decor and perfect service. A fantastic experience delivered by a team who seem truly passionate about, and understanding of, the food and drinks they're serving, and the city they're serving them in.

Just home from Nonya and felt compelled to write a review straight away. Been wanting to go for a while after reading some great reviews, and the reviews were right! Perfect place for sharing your food and drinks (if you want to) really nice atmosphere and my gawd those flavours. You guys really nailed it. Sea bass dish was my favourite and the service was excellent, nice and laid back which complements the mood. Looking forward to my next visit already :)

In with friends on Saturday night and loved everything. Decor and atmosphere is fab, staff were friendly and knowledgable and the food was so so so good. Will definitely be back and would advise others to go!! �

Had a lovely lunch with family here. Tried a lot of dishes. Some were quite unusual not like anywhere else in Glasgow. Every single dish was delicious and packed with flavour. Drinks list was excellent with a varied selection of wines, cocktails and really lovely non alcoholic drinks too. Mango smoothie so good to have with some of the spicier dishes. Staff are friendly and really informed about the menu and the surroundings are stunning. Can’t wait to come back and sample the cocktails next time.

Finally got to try the food and wasn’t disappointed. Food was amazing, drinks were amazing, staff were amazing. Can’t wait to go back :)

Everything we sampled on our lunch here was top notch. I especially loved the chicken wings and green papaya salad and SE Asian inspired cocktails were all amazing. Lovely ambiance and service. I highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back!

Couldn't recommend enough! Food is amazing - fresh, interesting and full of flavour. Everything on the menu compliments each other really well, so you feel like you've had a coherent meal even when ordering lots of small dishes. The cocktail menu is also pure joy. Never had anything like the clarified milk punch and can't wait to have it again. Service is excellent, really knowledgeable but relaxed. Place looks pure classy but the atmosphere is friendly and chilled.

Beautiful meal here on Friday, decor is gorgeous and the staff super friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were exceptional, a thoroughly great night. Keep up the good work guys xxx

8 of us in for a family dinner for my brother's birthday. Decor is beautiful and its a lovely atmosphere - bustling even though it was a wet Monday evening. The food was absolutely incredible and the staff were really attentive, making sure we had the right amount of everything. Dishes come in small and large portions with bottomless rice, so we were all able to try a bit of everything and everything was delicious! Draft Singha and all the cocktails were great too!

Amazing food, lovely space and really helpful, friendly staff all made the overall experience absolutely fab! Looking forward to a return visit already. Recommend the beef massaman curry but, really, all of the dishes I tried were delish.
