The gym is great the staff are friendly and nice. The gym equipment is update. And the classes are great with well trained trainers you get that burnnnn

Ive been a member of the gym for about 2 months now. I have found that all the staff are friendly and approachable. They offer a good range of classes throughout the week and would recommend joining.

I've just joined along with my daughter . The staff are very friendly and the facilities are excellent. I feel better in myself for joining and hopefully it will make me more healthy and fitter in time.

I'm a new member to the gym and I'm loving the range of classes! My new favourite is body combat with Chris and Nicky, they're brilliant teachers. I'm a sweaty mess afterwards but I'm buzzing! �

I have been member in Nuffield for 8 years . I really enjoy coming to that gym as they have full equipment for weights training and plenty of classes which I go to some of them. Personal trainers are all really friendly and helpful and receptionists as well. In October last year I decided to train with a PT and my choice was Kay Dangol as I was looking for female PT who can help me to achieve my goals in weight training and generally to look and feel better. I must say, Nuffield Bishops Stortford you are very lucky to have her in your team !�

Fantastic Facilities! Friendly staff! What more could anybody ask for...even managed to teach myself to swim unaided in just two weeks, with the help of my lovely girlfriend Ágota Figler! They even offer free M.O.T. fitness health checks and for a young 47 year old, my results even amazed Marta the personal trainer! I scored 91 out of 100. Something unheard of for my age group. A few of my results weren't even on their scales! So, I was obviously a very happy bunny! I can't recommend this place highly enough! Try it and see for yourself....it's awesome!!!!!

Been a member for 10 years and yes they have had their down moments but mostly it's a great club. Much improvement since the new manager took over. Their hands are tied with budgets etc and they have to jump through hoops to get things approved by head office, but that's life. I find the staff very helpful, cheerful and friendly. Cafe back up to speed now, a pleasure to sit in there with a lovely cup of coffee! Some of the untidy/ unsavoury habits of some members leave a lot to be desired though, which I find very annoying. Perhaps they have staff at home to pick up their wet towels, throw used tissues in the bin etc but personally I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

I'm new to Nuffield as there new personal trainer so have only been training there myself a few times. My own Training has been very inconsistent lately but has increased since joining Nuffield, has everything i need for the type of training i do and the pool and spa is awesome for my recovery and a little relax time. Looking forward to really upping my training in the new year and seeing all the new faces

Classes are great, gym team are really good, all making great effort to push and motivate you and always happy to answer questions, I just wish the sauna and steam rooms would work at proper temperature please

Whilst the instructors for the classes are very good, the air conditioning in both studios leaves a lot to be desired. This has been mentioned to head office on numerous occasions by various people, but as of yet nothing has happened. We are told that the air conditioning is working, but if so why do we need to have extra fans in the studios?

Im still a member of this gym simply because i like having the pool to use. Buts its frustrating that the same things that have been letting the place down for months havent changed. The "adults only" changing area is always ignore by the mums bringing their kids to swim. And so many of the machines are broken. They either dont turn on at all, they make noise's, or (and this applies to 80% of the machines) the sound boxes that allow you to listen to whats on the tvs dont work at all.

I've been a member of Nuffield Bishop's Stortford for over 15 years now, unfortunately over time the gym and the equipment has become tired and worn out, Nuffield seem reluctant to want to spend money on replacing certain equipment especially the spin bikes which unfortunately for me is one of my main classes which I thoroughly enjoy.

Saying this, you cannot fault the staff who always make you feel welcome and who are very polite and helpful where possible.

It's a shame that after numerous attempts to get certain issues resolved I've decided to leave the gym, purely from frustration that every year we have the same issues with the air con breaking down bang in the middle of summer and the lack of maintenance/replacement on the gym equipment.

The price they charge for my membership which is currently £48 does not reflect the services they offer. There are now new gyms opening up in Bishop's Stortford charging a fraction of this cost with new equipment and no contract.

Nuffield you need to start listening to your members...

The majority of the personal trainers are really friendly, but every time I go to the gym a machine is broken and it takes them months to repair them! And the equipment is so old as well. So basically I'm paying for something I can't use! The sauna was broken for months as well and when trying to get an explanation why they haven't fixed it I get no answer and a very dismissive answer! So I'm not happy at all :(

Machines take months to get fixed, sauna Has been out of order for months too and nobody seems to care or do anything about it !!!!! Looking to go somewhere else 👎

Hot water is always broken! Don't come in today, no hot water in the showers again!!
