I think this gym is the best because I find it very safe here it's very friendly and all the people who work in the gym always have been a great help to me always made feel welcome in the gym and when I don't go I just not miss doing my work out but I also miss the lovely staff members who try there best to keep us happy and the trainers very good they really train is good

I love it here ! I have been a member for about 15 years and joined when it was Greens. I love the atmosphere. The centre itself is light, bright, clean and welcoming. The staff and members are friendly and helpful and the variety of classes and standard of instructors/coaches are second to none.

An excellent local gym. I love the yoga and stretch classes but also use the gym, spa area and the pool. It's good value for money with a nice local community. I've been using this gym for over 10 years.

This is a good club. I used to go when it was Greens and joined again. The staff are friendly and there is a good atmosphere. It was nice to meet Tatyana who showed me around before I rejoined and was very helpful.

Thank You Nuffield for letting me teach Box Yoga on Mondays evenings. I feel very welcome and homey here, considering I am only covering the class for a time being, but what a great place! What a lovely staff! And most of all, a great, strong, dedicated gym members!!! This class wouldn't be without you all what it is, and I can`t wait for another session.... :)

I've been coming here off an on since it was first opened formally GREENS a lot has changed as it does over the years. It's got a good atmosphere staff are helpful and have a good knowledge of PT . Classes are good and instructor adapt to those less able. Only thing it would be nice that staff introduce theirselves on occasions to members old or new and correct members technique when on the gym floor.

First time I went to the express core class. Really enjoyed it. The instructor was spot on -encouraging, supportive and appropriate challenge! The only thing to improve would be to check who has booked the class as it was a bit too squashed.

I absolutely love the friendly atmosphere of staff and members alike. There is a great variety of classes on offer, something for everyone! My only gripe is that the stereo system has not been working properly for weeks...... now the iPod docking part is broken as well so we have to use a boom box which makes the speaker system crackle and the music sound absolutely pants!!!!! Come on Nuffield up your game and get it repaired please......music is our motivation and it needs to be pumping out of the speakers, not barely audible over the crackle!!!!!

Joined over a year ago and loved this gym, no faults. I had to cancel my membership due to injury and rejoined after a 7month break. On my return I found A lot of the equipment was broken, staff were rude and not helpful at first, allthough after 5 days of complaints two members of staff were very helpful. I had several issue with my account which I was told could be easily resolved yet this didn’t seem to be the case. The gym was dirtier than I once remembered, and the lockers now have a bring your own lock system.



I have now gone to another local gym which is much better suited to my expectations and cheaper.

Sorry that I've had to post such a public message but I'm still waiting to be called by the centre to discuss. However I feel very strongly so need to share...

My twin daughters are nearly 3 and have been going to the swim schl personally advertised by Danni. I have been so impressed by Danni and Danni that I have recommended lots of friends. Despite their being internal changes constantly being made by the centre I have continued going as the girls love swimming with Danni and Danni. Last week out of the blue I received a cold email stating that dani no longer works for Nuffield and for now my classes remain.

I in turn contacted Danni as I was not impressed to find out about her leaving after all the recommendations only to find out that she wasn't aware that she had left!!!

When I went to the class today I was disrespectfully called across the foyer by a complete stranger addressing me about my attendance to their swim schl.

Needless to say today was our last time. I have also taken the decision not to become a full member, along with my friends deciding not to continue their attendance to the swim schl!!

If this is how they treat their staff then clearly as paying customers we are not highly rated!!!

Despite my rant I would like to say that apart from my disappointed at Gabrielle and the management team I have found the day staff absolutely lovely. However having experienced this I also feel very sorry for them too!!

Poor Gym can't fix boxing bag for a few months

Please can you remind people of gym etiquette during classes. Today I left the LBT class after the warm up because I was fed up with the attitude of 2 other members. They came in 5 minutes late and pushed their way into already-occupied places, resulting in me being pushed back or risk an elbow in the face - and that behaviour was from one of your instructors! If people want to stand in specific places, then they should arrive before the class starts or just fit in with everybody else. It is a popular class, and rightly so, but ruined by rude, inconsiderate people - Merry Christmas!

I would like to warn the present and future members to be careful. I am very disappointed with the management of the club. I had an accident in the sauna, whilst I was sitting on the top seat, the bottom seat broke and I fell down. I hurt my feet and I was quite shocked that this could happen. Later, I could see that I had bruises on the backs of my legs. Immediately after the incident, I was approached by an employee who asked me to describe what had happened, she also wrote down the details of the incident. At the time I was very shocked and did not pay to much attention to what was being written on the paper. I thought that someone from the club management would inquire about my health, and apologize, but the club has shown no interest, and has ignored 2 letters written by me . it seems to me that the club will not take any responsibility if you are hurt or injured whilst you are in the club due to faulty equipment.

I joined when it was run by Greens which fabulous. Then Nuffield took it over and I've since left due to many reasons: reduced numbers of cardio and weights equipment, narrower variety of classes, only one swimming lane available at peak times due to children's lessons, extremely high staff turnover and the recruitment of some really rude, ill informed and disinterested receptionists and the cliental has changed massively...For the worse.

Disappointing that the jacuzzis were all freezing cold and apparently have been like it for several weeks - not a great first experience as a trial to see if this would be the place I want to join! I currently belong to gym group £15 a month, no spa facilities - pretty much same as this place, only it's 4+ times the price lol!



The sign telling you this as you go in is facing away from reception too! When I asked the unhelpful & unfriendly receptionist, she said that it can't be expected for everything to work all the time and said I couldn't do another trial there and they weren't even sure if/when it would be working again anyhow! Members were moaning about this as apparently they used to get text alerts when things like this happen so they could make a decision as to whether they go or not based on whatever it is that isn't working, but they don't get these anymore.
