Wow what an incredible hidden gem! Thank You Annie and Emily for the exclusive use of Number One for my Best Friends Hen Do; we had the most amazing weekend - beautiful interior, enchanting garden, stunning dining room, the lounge which was perfect for our Afternoon Tea and Cocktail Party with Oscar the mixologist. Then onto the candlelit private dinner created by our Private Chef. The bespoke bedrooms with the luxury feel and everything you need for a wonderful stay. Waking up to a delicious brunch with so many choices; catering for everyone's tastes and dietary requirements. Your attention to detail and personalised event planning and management is mind blowing and great local recommendations and knowledge too. We're already wanting to come back making it a yearly girlie retreat. Thanks again to you both for all your hard work. I would highly recommend; see you soon x

We went to Annie's to celebrate our 10 year anniversary at the Women's Society last night. Annie and Emily were amazing they put on a beautiful evening for us girlies full of surprises. This B&B is truly magical there are hidden gems everywhere you turn and the food is delicious. Annie does a lovely job of welcoming you into her home and make you all feel so special! I can't recommend this place enough, we will all be back here again soon! Xx

Stayed here for a local night away. What a place! Beautifully decorated, attention to detail, lots of little extras, extremely clean and a wonderful full English breakfast. Annie is a lovely host and made us feel most welcome in her home. We have rebooked already. Thanks Annie :)

Physic Supper



This was my first time attending an event at Number One and it certainly won't be my last. Stunning!

I stayed at this beautiful enchanted serene hotel on Monday and loved every moment of it. Annie is lovely and won't do enough for you, great stay and great company. Would recommend to anyone. Plus she holds amazing events at the venue as well!

I have had one of the best nights of my life. Warm and friendly hosts. Great food and excellent ambiance ! Absolutely gorgeous and stunning deco throughout, spotlessly clean and all finishings are to the highest of standards. The attention to detail is mind blowing. It truly was a 5 star experience. I can not wait for my next visit. Having stayed/ visited many 5 star places both within the UK and overseas I could quite easily say number one is in my top 10.

I am a regular guest at this hotel, and have stayed up to 10 times in the last few months. I keep coming back for the following reasons:



Cleanliness - rooms and communal areas are always spotless

Breakfast - The best B&B Breakfast I've ever had.. and freshly baked bread

Friendly owner - Always on hand for recommendations.

Location is great - plenty of nearby good restaurants

Beautiful surroundings, amazing food ,very professional and lovely friendly hosts couldn't recommend it enough !!
