😡 this is NOT acceptable. If you want this to still be a dog friendly site...then pick up after your dog. This was right next to the bin. If you didn’t have a bag at least let us know or better still go and get some toilet roll and chuck it in the bin 😡

We had a fantastic night up at Nydie. Good old fashion fun. Playing at the park walking the dog. Melted marshmallows and smores üòã. It was a last minute thing for us to celebrate our 6th year wedding Anniversary. The kids had a blast as did me and the Hunby. The cabins are so warm I was worried We would be freezing. Will definitely be back my boys can't stop taking about it. Thank you for having us.

Stayed here for my first camping trip with my son. He loved everything about it, especially the fact we could have a fire!

Really friendly welcome, beautifully kept site, great facilities. Beautiful view out to sea from the hillside and lovely sunrises. Very family friendly, we had a great time and will be back.

Also a great base to go adventuring from with proximity to St Andrews and the Deer Centre - oh and the farm shops!

Lovely campsite, great location for visiting St Andrews, Dundee or Craigton Country Park. Showers clean, great park for the kids and love you can hire a fire pit for roasting marshmallows.

Just back from our 3rd visit to the campsite. Yet again we have had a lovely time. Our daughter absolutely loves it here and was even happier to see that there is a lovely new park! We went as a group of 2 families and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves ( even in the rain) . As ever Sue was extremely helpful and friendly. We had bought firewood from elsewhere, but on our last night bought some from the site, it was much better and would recommend using it. We will do in future. Already planned our next trip and are very much looking forward to it. Thanks Nydie Campsite for another lovely weekend.

Just back from here, loved every minute , clean toilets / showers , great set up, good park, friendly owners. Will recommend to anyone , will definitely be back x

Just back from an over night stay. Absolutely brilliant place. Views amazing. Camping grounds perfect loads of room for kids to play and the play area is perfect. Facilities very clean too. Also a short drive to St Andrews. Kids had a blast will definitely be back.

Just back from a one night stay with my partner grandson and dog. Fantastic place. Well laid out spacious site. Grandson (8) loved the football goals and play park. Sue(owner) was great offering replacement poles for our damaged ones(high winds last night). Will be booking up again this week.

Just back from a one night stay in a Woodwam ... I have never left a review in my life but had to share how amazing this place was , great place , very clean , helpful staff very close to town. Roll on April once it opens again we will be straight back ÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩ

Just back from a lovely weekend camping with a group of friends and kids. Lovely campsite, very friendly, and great play park too. Would recommend. Nice & quiet past 11.

Georgeous campsite. We stayed for 3 nights midweek and with it bein our 3rd stay we knew what to expect. What made it excellent was Sue the owner going above and beyond as we had a few mishaps on arrival. Our electric hookup did not reach the socket so she called the local supplier and he agreed to keep the shop open until we got there as it was almost closing time. Car wouldn't start then so we got help with jumpleads and when that didn't work she got the guy to come deliver our electric leads while we waited for the AA! She obviously takes pride in her Campsite and is always busy cutting grass tidying up (other people's mess ) and making sure everything is ok. The park and football field is great for my 9 year old and you can see these areas from all of the site. Perfect and will be back again.

I loved: the warm welcome and friendliness of the staff, how clean and tidy it was, how family friendly it was (great play area - hardly saw my kids!!) and it’s location and stunning views.

To be balanced if I had to pick any faults it would be the size of the toilet/shower block - it got pretty crowded in there with only 4 or 5 people in it.

Have just noticed that my review didn’t show up do here goes. Stayed here for 3rd time just after Easter. Site was quiet but that suited us and our four-legged friend just fine. We love Nydie’s superb location within easy reach of the town but with probably the best views around. Sue was as welcoming and helpful as always. We are heading back in ten days time and can’t wait xx

Fantastic hidden gem of a campsite. Beautiful setting, lovely views and so close to St Andrews and East Neuk. Great / clean facilties, well spaced pitches, great playpark and lovely staff. Will definitely return.

Fab campsite with amazing views the facilities were excellent & kept clean great location we all had a great couple of days camping adults kids & dogs and we will definitely be back.

Excellent campsite with well maintained facilities and one of the few sites that accommodate a 10 man tent. Pitches are large and spacious even with the large tent. Kids absolutely loved it and was relatively safe to let them have their freedom whilst still being in good view from pitch. Sue accommodated us at very short notice and we had a brilliant few days. Can't wait to plan our next trip and nydie is on the top of our camping list.

Cannot recommend highly enough. Fabulous campsite, great location and immaculately kept! Fantastic for kids, with large playpark and football goals, and totally safe. Showers & toilets always spotless and the owners could not have been more pleasant and helpful. We will certainly return and will be advance booking for The Open 2021!! Thankyou so much for a wonderful stay ÔøΩ

We stayed here for one night in the Landpod, which was a little different to our trusty tent. Great location up above St Andrews, facilities were very good and people friendly. Would recommend to others

Great wee campsite, friendly, lovely views and not overcrowded. They have fire pits for rent which was fabulous, especially as it was a little cold at nights. Our dog was in heaven, lots of room to wander with him and the place was quiet by 11pm. There's a pub along the road, 5-10mins walk if you fancy leaving for a drink.

My only criticism is the toilet/shower facilities which could be much better, very basic compared to other places. It's also on a hill so a little blowy up there, but it wouldn't stop me booking in again.
