Last night we were chuffed to provide Leicester's Christmas Lights Switch On with 100% renewable electricity.

The loveliest bunch behind the customer service desk, and an excellent quality energy provider; I haven't even gone on about the Green Plan yet!

Providing affordable Green energy is one of the best things a company can do, and in a market where everyone else is basically charging double, I was happy to pay an extra penny a kWh to support a greener planet compared to the next cheapest tariff. Sad I have to move soon, but I will definitely go back to Octopus energy once I'm in my own flat again.

So far so good! I joined in January - saving approx £40 p month on my energy bills - yipee! The most touching thing tho has been receiving a handwritten letter and pink octopus finger puppet in the mail yesterday! Adorable and cute! That's the way to do it octopus!

Octopus - What A Breath of Fresh Air!



We are moving house and I have spent the last three days dealing with BT (what an absolute ongoing nightmare) and British Gas. What a breath of fresh air talking to Lilly at Octopus Energy this morning. After feeling positively stressed, by the woman at British Gas, talking with someone who's knowledge and customer service was just simply how it should be - perfect. Thank you. Such a pleasure dealing with this company where people like Lilly make you feel like a human being and valued customer rather than a number.

My husband is with octopus and we had our gas meter stolen. They were very helpful and bent over backwards to get us a new meter. Were advised that someone from national grid will be with between 8 and 8. Arrived at 8am on the dot. Thank you octopus for being fabulous.

I've had no issues with octopus they've always been available to help when I've needed them (contacted twice but not due to issues with Octopus), my bills have been much cheaper than they have ever been. Keep up the good work Octopus �

I've been with this energy provider since Jan 2017, as this is my first property aswell, they offered the cheapest rate around,

Fair to their word, they have remained to the price they quoted, if not cheaper,

Outstanding customer service, really helpful with everything, clear and simple with any instructions they give,

I am in the transitional stage of moving over to Octopus Energy Company, I've been extremely pleased how they're keeping me regular updated on the progress from my old supplier to their device, which is set to commence on the 20th April 2017. The original contact I made over the phone and I was very pleased how I was dealt with and was fully made aware on how the transition would go. Not only are their prices very competitive but I've found their customer service excellent and there business development impressive.

Brilliant company, very fair rates and exceptional service, fixed tariff which is very cheap and reasonable on the market and no exit fees now I know why they have won the awards and are the only Which Recommended company. This company has turned the market around and is leading the way with how energy companies should be which is fair, customer focused, cheap, reliable and renewable.

You've been taking money out of my account for 3 months without providing me a single Watt of energy despite signing up to your service. I only found out when the company that was actually supplying my energy sent me a letter stating I was 3 months into arrears.



Not one person from Octopus Energy flagged up that they were charging me for phantom energy that they had not supplied.



I was then promised a refund into my account on the 30/8/18, It did not arrive. When I rang again the refund was promised to hit my account today (31/8/18), It has still not arrived. In light of the fact that my actual energy supplier is asking for the money you've been taking, my experience with you has been awful.

So it seems the only way to get a reply is to give a 1 star rating. You don't respond to emails or messages so there ya go! Was referred by a friend in April on the understanding them and myself get a £15 introductory kick back yet you still haven't bothered paying out. That makes you thieves.

Just had to almost physically remove Octopus from my doorstep for the second time. Overly pushy rude salespeople to say the least.

I’m leaving octopus at the earliest opportunity. You are harassing me about having a smart meter fitted. Your smart meter guy said it’s not possible to fit one in a tricky location in our house back in June 18. I’ve since had a barrage of phone calls asking me to have a smart meter fitted. Sometimes I was being called twice a day. Each time I’ve asked to be removed from the data base and was ignored. I blocked the number which worked for a few weeks but today I had another phone call about fitting a smart meter! So I’ve had enough! I’m taking my business elsewhere !!! ���

I have just landed off a plane this morning to discover my old supplier has been billing me for the last 3 months.. Turns out they are still supplying my gas.. But you have been charging me nearly £70 a month! I want answers to this.. I am not paying two different companies for 1 service. A quick response to this issue would be greatfully appreciated.
