Take my kids here for the Kids Club sometimes and think it's such a lovely cinema!

Was especially happy when a bearded handsome gentleman who works there held the door for us as we had our hands full of snacks and drinks today, nice to experience good customer service like that :)

Highly recommend a visit!

Had a great evening loads of room to sit , I like the way the seats are situated because you can’t get in anybody’s way all round a nice place

A really nice cinema with a really good layout inside. Just wish it was a little cheaper to go more often! But thumbs up for the cleanliness (the other film fans might like to try taking their rubbish out, it’s just rude and lazy!) and well done to the friendly staff!

Went to see a showing of Mamma Mia 2. Booked Premier seats. Very comfortable although the room was a tad cold for my liking. Film great. Only real downside was that one of our seats had drink spilt previously and was still wet. Staining my clothes. Tickets are expensive and snacks too but we don't go very often so ok.

We took a group of 9 of us yesterday to your Tunbridge Wells branch to see Paddington 2 . Have always been very impressed with the helpfullness of the staff if we've ever had problems. No problem yesterday although our tickets didnt get checked and therefore did not receive our Paddington sticker sets for the children that are promised with every child ticket! Overall we had a very good experience and the group prices are good value. Thank you.

Tunbridge Wells odeon is great, seats comfortable, well maintained and tidy. Staff are friendly and helpful. I do find it odd that you have to get your ticket before you get your snacks, saves time when in a group for one to grab the tickets and the others grabbing food.

The only thing I think needs looking at is the closed restaurant above. I hope it is either rebooted as an eating area or used another space for a screen. It would be a shame to waste it.

Friendly and helpful staff! Still an expensive experience which could do with an IMAX upgrade.

Tickets are very pricey so only go now and again or with the younger ones when there's offers on over school hols or weekends. The food is way over priced so will take my own all the time now. I don't think it's value for money when spending £70 to go to the cinema and buy food and drink there too. Drop your prices for both tickets and food and you might just see an increase and gain a better rating.

The odeon tickets are extremely expensive. You can get a better experience at other cinemas locally for a much cheaper price. The screen (8) wasn’t the cleanest - popcorn on the floor. But Jumanji was great, and the film volume was perfect (others are too loud for my kids).

I’m afraid the cinema is getting a little tired. The gents’ lavatories smell quite bad. I went to see Blade Runner 2049 (a rubbish film btw, but that’s not Odeon’s fault!) and Screen 7 (which was showing the 3D version) had an awful stale smell, like years and years of spilled fizzy drinks festering away in the carpets, and probably the seats. The sound was quite poor as well; on many occasions with a bit of bass in the soundtrack the speakers were unable to cope, shaking and rattling and generally sounding quite distorted. On the upside, the staff are generally quite courteous and pleasant (for the UK that is!)

Don’t get me wrong we love going to the cinema and really enjoyed black panther! Seriously though popcorn and specially the sweets so over priced!

Cinema is local and convenient. Picture and sound quality is not that great. Looking tired and out of date now. Saw Star Wars and the seats are very uncomfortable for a 150 minute film. They should upgrade to Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision asap and install decent seats. I would pay more for premier large format or IMAX type experience.

User

Why you have to pay more for an adult to watch a kids film i dont know! Screen we were in heating doesnt work despite the high admission price plus i dont think someone else should be able to buy your seats while you are still paying for them online, especially if its your servers that fuck up resulting in having to do it twice!

We've been to the Tunbridge Wells Odeon cinema recently. Somewhat over-priced. Pick'n'mix is naff. Long queues at the concessions stand. Two out of four ticket collection machines were out of order, and one of the male toilets was flooded and had to be closed. One particular issue was that we arrived a little early to ensure we got our seats & snacks etc, but found no seating in the entrance hall (besides one small two-seater sofa in each wing of the entrance to the theatres). My 70 year old mother-in-law who walks with a cane had to sit outside in the cold to rest her legs before the theatre was ready. A few seats in the entrance hall would help.

User

Cinema a little tired, not many staff, is it my imagination or have the last two films I’ve seen there both had really poor sound quality? And whilst the premier seats are wider with more legroom, the actual quality of the seat means it’s no more comfortable.

User

We visited the cinema and collected online tickets. These weren’t checked at any point, we could of just walked in and perhaps some of them in the screening did, who knows. Also, massive queue as the sweet counter, I wanted a bottle of water and the queue was at least 10 Minutes long, so I skipped it to get into the screening on time. I prefer Cineworld by far.

Totally disgusted! Off my son went to watch a movie which is a 15, my son is 15! He wasn’t allowed in . My husband brought his birth certificate in for proof but that’s not good enough!!!!! Thanks for ruining my sons night. Never again!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Funny he saw IT a while back with no problems! Sort your staff out customer service you don’t have any. Connor told my son it was not in his contract to talk to me so you don’t deal with customers?????

I went to see Dunkirk yesterday which was fabulous, however, after paying almost £40 for 3 of us to see it I didn't expect to have to smell damp stagnant flood water for two hours. It ruined the entire experience. You should not be open and if you do open you certainly shouldn't be charging full price. The smell is absolutely vile and the place is stagnant and damp. I won't be prebooking tickets again without the place passing a sniff test.

I feel that the Odeon tickets prices are very high, and there are never enough staff. This is the third film I have seen at this cinema where there have been people behaving incorrectly and ruining the film for others around them. Due to the lack of stewards this behaviour is allowed to continue. Yesterday evening there were two mid teens in our viewing, they were sitting in our original premier seats but as we knew the cinema would not be busy we moved backed a row. We decided not to challenge them as they had loads of snacks and had their feet up on the chairs etc. Another couple entered the cinema and we were then in their seats but just decided to move down the row. When the announcement for the film starting came on and asked everyone to turn of their mobile phones, one of the teens then decided to start playing music, so the older man in our row asked him politely to turn it off, so instead they started talking loudly, and again he asked him to be quiet, they then kept fidgeting and turning round deliberately and the man told them just to watch the film. They were then being deliberately annoying for the first 20 mins of the film, still talking, using their phones, fidgeting and eating their snacks extremely loudly, I decided I had had enough of the film being ruined so had to leave the cinema to come down to talk to one the staff. When I left they also followed me down the stairs, so I actually spoke to them myself, but also came to make the management aware. The staff member did send a manager in, however, having spoken to my sister after the film. The manager did not come and talk to the teens that were misbehaving they just came in to the screen for a couple of minutes and then left. Paying £11.70 per adult for 4 adults to attend a film, is not a cheap evening out and I feel you should look at the staffing, usher status within the cinema to stop this from happening. Even if an usher was present at the beginning of the film I believe it would discourage people from sitting in others seats and behaving incorrectly. I have used Uckfield cinema on a few occasions too now and after another bad experience at the Odeon in Tunbridge Wells I would be more inclined to go there in future, as it is cheaper and people actually behave correctly in the theatres which makes for a much better viewing experience.
