👣It's a perfect day for a walk along the south west coast path!
This photo was taken on one of our favourite stretches from Beer to Branscombe, what a view!
There is a lower route and a cliff top route, both stunning, we usually do one each way and have lunch at either end, depending on where we start.
... The Masons Arms in Branscombe and The Anchor Inn at Beer are good resting points😉
If you want something lighter there are plenty of cafe's to choose from.

Just 30 minutes away, on the Devon/Dorset border is Lyme Regis.
The town is well known for fossils found in the cliffs and on the beaches and "The Cobb" harbour wall featured in The French Lieutenant's Woman.
... Wander the lanes and pretty alleyways, browse the many shops 🛍️, visit the fossil museum, paddle in the sea, enjoy fish and chips on the beach.

😥This little man was feeling a bit sorry for himself last night.
It had been a bit of a traumatic day!
Their mums were having their annual haircut so they had to be separated from them for a while.
... While they were all in the barn the lambs were given their first Heptavac injection.
And then..... to top it all off.....when they were reunited all their mummies looked the same!! Very confusing.
After a lot of shouting they soon sorted themselves out😂😂😍😍 but this little one was obviously shattered.

Anyone that has been following our page for a while will have seen photos of Dumpdon Hillfort on my "through the ears" photos.
It is one of my favourite views when out riding and a great place to head off to for a picnic while you are staying at Odle Farm.
We have maps available with the walking route, you don't even have to get in your car.

The chicks are now two weeks old.
Little cuties 🐤🐥🐤.
We will hopefully have some more hatching on 8th June as we have another broody chicken sitting in 8 eggs.

The red campion is bringing a splash of pink to the hedgerows as the bluebells start to fade.
My dog walks are taking a bit longer at the moment as there are so many wildflowers to look at. 😍🐕🌼🌺

All three chicks out in the sunshine.
It's a shame they stay fluffy for such a short time.
The wing feathers are appearing already and they are only 2 days old.
... I have heard that the females get wing feathers quicker than the males.
Fingers crossed that is true🤞....if so we should hopefully have at least 2 hens.

Clever chook has hatched three chicks after sitting for 21 days.
How cute are they! 🐣🐣🐣 The little black one is a bit shy, I will try and get a photo later.

🐴I love this pony!
I have ridden all sorts of horses in the past and owned an Anglo Arab, a Trakhena and a Thoroughbred at different times.
I have loved them all and they have all been special in their own way but.......
... Katie, this hairy cob, has got to have the most character out of all of them.......and caused me the least worries.
She's a cutie.....let's hope I haven't jinxed it!

Who loves fresh farm eggs?
Hopefully we should have a few chicks to add to our flock soon.
This little lady has been sat for 20 days so fingers crossed the eggs should hatch tomorrow. 🐣🐤🐥
... When the girls are laying well we leave eggs in the cottages for our guests.
And of course they are always used when baking the welcome cakes 🍰
