I have a wide range of experience, from working on a country estate to felling and milling timber from woodlands, from helping out on farms around the world to maintaining fine ornamental gardens. I can help you with:
Basic Gardening Duties - tidying up fallen leaves and other debris, weeding, cutting back shrubs, splitting perennials, training and trimming tomatoes and climbers, planting, potting, re-planting, turf-moving and landscaping, lawn mowing and strimming, watering, digging, painting or treating timber sheds and fences, harvesting and maintaining fruit and vegetables, maintenance of hand and power tools, tending house plants.

Organic gardening - including pest management
Container garden and hanging basket maintenance
Themed garden maintenance - including Japanese, Mediterranean, Rose, Statue
Creating and maintaining raised beds
Greenhouse and polytunnel maintenance
Pruning and tree care
Felling and processing trees into building materials or firewood - I am certificated and properly equipped for this.
Effective composting - including weed tea systems
Rainwater collection systems - advice, installation, maintenance, gutter cleaning
Fencing - stock (including swine + poultry), timber, post and rail, heras
Building structures such as wood sheds and plant supports from available natural materials
Maintenance for pets and livestock - mucking out, repairing pens and enclosures, including animal by-products in the garden

All jobs considered - I will take one-off jobs or regular work and I can advise on how often I should come to you. I will do everything I can to satisfy your requirements and I like to offer realistic, practical advice as part of the service, finding the right conditions for your plants to thrive. I am also happy to work with you or alongside other professionals - including finding you the right trades person for any job.
I like to work hard, with diligence, care and attention to detail and as such I feel the rates that I offer are competitive for the quality of work that I carry out.
