The Friends of Chipping Hill School have just taken delivery of 400 stunning primrose's for our 'Gift for Someone Special' event from Olivers Nursery. From start to finish the entire team have been absolutely fantastic. We could not have hoped for a better experience working with a local company. Highly recommended.

User

Super Christmas display, well worth a magical visit. Bought some good gifts which we weren't expecting to do as actually came for some winter bedding plants, which we also purchased.

First time I've visited this nursery and was very impressed with the variety of items sold there. Plants looked extremely healthy and the Christmas decorations were beautiful. Had lunch in the Strawberry tea rooms and the soup was the best ever. Everything presented beautifully and hot. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Will be visiting there again very soon

User

Fantastic place. Something for everyone. Lovely helpful staff.

Dropped by this morning to your PYO strawberry field. Your setup is fab!! Strawberries at waist height and just hanging there! Two full punnets in minutes and they are utterly delicious We'll definitely be back for more

Absolutely brilliant system for PYO strawberries, all at waist height so no bending down. Loads of strawberries just hanging there waiting to be picked, our punnets were full within minutes. The fruits are so juicy and have a gorgeous flavour, won't be long before I'm back for more

We came fruit picking yesterday with our daughters one of which has a sensory disorder, the kids loved it and behaved very well. Unfortunately we had to cut it short as an older couple who also picking fruit where very rude to our children and told them off for picking "ripe, juicy raspberries" on a bush next to them, after initially thinking they where joking the couple became very rude and down right horrible to the children! After we tried to explain the kids where doing no harm and actually behaved impeccably (a first for my two) they continued to be rude and almost aggressive. We reported it to staff who where very apologetic and said we where welcome to stay but the spark had be dampened and our morning ruined! We paid for our fruit and left!

In hindsight, this morning I feel strongly that actually we shouldn't have left and that perhaps the couple should have been reminded that this is a Family place and no one has preference over anyone else, as we had paid the same!

It's a shame as its a really lovely garden centre, set up well for children and was safe for my Daughters additional needs but we won't be returning

User

Lots to do for the children (age 6 and 4) and with a BBQ and cafe option for food it was good. One entry fee makes it pretty good value. Shady areas are limited too 😎

Toilets are OK but ran out of paper and hand towels very early on and weren’t refilled so that’s a downside.

I love visiting Olivers and usually everyone is very helpful and supportive of a novice gardener. I've had a couple of visits like today, when the person taking the money was grumpy and just glad to see the back of you. Thankfully the helpful friendly staff out weight the grumps, and everyone can have an off day.

Restaurant is lovely, food well thought out, garden centre well stocked... BUT Easter Activities were a wash out, had to cobble together what they should have been, find the necessary equipment and basically do ourselves... the maze was a flattened corn field which I wasn't warned of on the phone... when enquiring we were told we had to pay £6 for each child for a wristband for the non existent activities and that the maze was "out of season!"... luckily we are a family that could have a good day out in a large cardboard box so we made sure the kids had had a good time. Won't be rushing back!
