Boom ­¤Æź Yesterday at the @bespokeduk show we threw our hat in the ring and will attempt to break the 166.9mph menŌĆÖs world cycle land speed record currently held by Fred Rompelberg set on the Bonneville salt flats. We will be using a Porsche Cayenne turbo driven expertly by Andy Frost from the @redvictor1racing team to motoroace the @mossbikes ŌĆśSilver EagleŌĆÖ. The attempt will take place on Elvington runway on the 17-18th August at a @straightliners_events . Elvington is one qu...arter this distance of Bonneville so breaking from 170-0mph in 400m will be a tad sketchy, hence why @stroud_safety have designed and supplied a specialist parachute to be deployed at 150mph.
